They missed a very low forcast for Wii U sales and Nintendo s revenue was down year over year- they made a small operating profit based on lowered operating cost (less $ s invested in making games and advertising among others)-
The games will continue to drip out for the Wii u at a snails pace and i don t see too many AAA/higher budget Nintenod games being released for the Wii U this year or next other than Zelda (if it is not held for the NX) or perhaps a game they start...
What games had the micro transactions they referenced in the financial report? The mentioned promising results for newly implemented micro transactions (not just mobile) That is terrible news they are happy about the uptake on micro transactions- everyone please stop or we will be getting them more and more from all kinds of dev s in all kinds of games- not just free to play
Don t buy unfinished games on release, don t buy DLC that does not offer good value or that should have been included at the start- don t buy junk boring games- the Devs are going to make what sells untill it does not-
there have been some signs that the game may be a bit of a letdown- Does not mean it won t be good but i think most of us either are or were expecting this game to be on par or perhaps even bigger and better than Xenoblade
i have surely felt this game would probably make up for many of the Wii U s shortcoming re software - but now my expectations are def lowering- not so much i won t buy the game but ill prob read a few reviews 1st
the "long and short" of this statement really says nothing- yet people will "buy into" this statement as if they did say something of meaning
Translated Nintendo statement:
We are making more amiibo for you to buy- which characters, how many any actual useful information for their fans is not available at this time- but we know you will be happy with our "apology" anyway
The organic demand for Amiibo is pretty weak- it is nearly all collector driven as the Amiibo that have the most gameplay options (Mario, DK, Zelda, Link, Pickachu, Luigi etc. have been sitting on shelves in great supply pretty much since release- It is the Amiibo that are "rare" or considered possibly "rare" that have be selling- Nintendo knows this all too well and really does not want to supply the market to demand- There are so many things they could have said/...
It would not surprise me one bit if this was not a "Straw man" scenario or if it was just a dumb ass-
Either way it does not warrant attention
I just started playing the Minish Cap on the VC - So its early to judge but i love the premise of it and I could see it being a very cool re-make
and there is no cure for it!
and a courthouse!
Please read the update - It was not from cyber bullying but health related issues-
The groups using this death for political gain will surely be disappointed but they are as much cyber bullies as anyone for tarnishing her name and trying to leverage it for their own personal agenda- sickening and DAMN why do people jump to conclusions so easily and believe everything they read on the internet when there is often little to back up what is written and presented as journal...
I feel sure some Zelda games are delayed primarily for strategic/business reasons as much as they are due to needing more time.
why did askyourmumgaming.com feel the need to post a photo a skantily dressed 13 year old - I doubt anyone wold have known and few would have seen it except for this sites insistence on publishing it
seems like clickbait to me
So the contact from Natsume is lying? That s a real rational/mature thing to say. Why in the world would they lie about that? It is always possible it is a mistake but i bet they know a whole lot better than you and anyone else disputing it- In any event there is no reason for them to lie.
As far as the games releases this week and/or next, they were probably already in the pipeline- It sound like they are not taking any more new titles for the SNES but i m sure they wo...
Nintendo has ZERO sense of urgency re the Wii U and North America-
They delay Zelda indefinitely with no E3 update now it looks like they may struggle to get Xenoblade out in 2015- They have been using both those games to generate interest in the Wii U since the 1st Nintendo direct in Feb 2013
Nintendo should change its name to Mirage
E3 2016
I think they are focussing on getting mobile games to I pads right now- Maybe they will release SNES games there too
Developers employed by Nintendo are Nintendo- It is ultimatley the companies decision weather they let the dev decide or not- Either way the reasoon given for not having it is pretty flimsy and not the real reason anyway-
Nintendo is a top down company- It was def Nintendo- the dev s work for Nintendo too so it is not really possible to seperate the two
i wish we could get MH4 on the WiiU _ i can t really get into the thought of playing MH on a portable) but i m afraid neither capcom or Nintendo are willing to invest in putting it on the Wii U-
