That was a bit of a disappointing end to the review. Parts 2 and 3 had me cracking up constantly. It seems like he was looking for a way out so he padded this clip with his nit-picking about the chrystarium and the Dr. Insano bit. I can't say I really blame him. There's no way I could have done what he did and made it all the way through the game.
Also noticed there was no hints at the end if he'll continue on with XIII-2. I hope he does. We need more rev...
@showtimefolks
"And if the 1st character was part of the DLC than why is this we one not?"
It wasn't. It was free to people who pre-ordered. It was never a part of the season pass. Why is this so difficult for people to understand?
Take advantage of you? They told you exactly what you'd get with the purchase of the season pass. They gave us MORE then they said we'd get out of it by including the level cap increase. And...
Yeah, they may not have earned a penny off of me yet, I'm certainly a very interested future customer. I had a friend who LOVED the game so I tried the demo, and it sucked. After quite a while, I saw some of the goofy things people were doing and then it showed up on PS+, so I tried it and really enjoyed it. If it wasn't for PS+, I never would have given it another chance. Ultimately it's a win for everyone.
Yeah, the boxes can be pretty vulnerable. Cases sound like a good idea.
PS1 game jewel cases are pretty hard plastic and can be brittle, so they can crack, break, and scratch pretty easily. I don't keep an PS1 games out except like 1 or 2. Even those I replaced the case to a pristine one and keep them wrapped up.
Not only is this not a slashed price, Amazon doesn't even sell the Wii-U. It only facilitates the sale through other vendors. So guess what? The one (or more?) retailers that lowered the price probably sold out and now it's back up to $294.95 a retailer that has only one copy left.
Actually, they did cover this in the reveal.

Yeah. Like the PS3 controller lag on Pinball Arcade. I think the developer said it's like a 1 frame delay, but it's still noticed and affects your reaction time. I'm sure it'll work fine for some titles though.
Really? I thought they made it clear that this was how they would allow people to play previous generation PS games on the PS4.
Not having a press conference in itself may not be a big deal, but the reasons behind it are probably very significant. Sounds like all they have to offer are rehashed sequels of their popular titles and very little third party support. If they held a press conference to show what they have, they may get demolished compared to what Sony and MS have to offer and only serve to highlight how poorly things are going right now.
If you try to get a specific Legendary, it isn't that difficult. Sometimes it doesn't even take that long.
Sure I played through the game 3 times and never got an orange to drop (except one on the Warrior and it was stuck under his body, unlootable), but I then went back and started killing bosses and found out the tricks like The Warrior's moonshot, or the loot midgets in Wildlife Exploitation Preserve.
Thankfully I've had my 360 disconnected for a while now so I didn't get the update. Been farming loot midgets and have a lot of legendaries now, but could really use some good upgrades of what I'm using now, so I'll probably keep it offline for a while.
According to the stats I've been keeping the last couple of days, the drop rate for Legenday drops from the loot midgets was about 7% and Pearls 2%. I have yet to get the Pearl rocket launcher or a si...
Do they consider a calendar a technical limitation?
As the Wii U Founders do what?
@Cueil
No. I can do that now with my PS3 and I have it turned off. I don't want it starting up every night just do download stuff I probably don't even want, at least for game patches. I'm usually done with the game within a week or so. No point having it keep downloading updates for games I'm done with.
System updates might be another thing, but they're usually infrequent enough to not bother me. If 10 minutes out of my day every f...
"For me, Xbox 360 is almost entirely an online experience,"
He seems to be taking the Orth mentality on this. His way is how it is for everyone. Hey, great, you're online almost all the time. Me? Almost never. I use my 360 for games, and only games. I rarely play online with other people, so I don't want and I don't need an always on console.
I normally really dislike Pachter, but I oddly agree with him this time. He's even got the Bioshock 2 vinyl album and an original copy of FF7 showing like I do.
I've been on this rant in the past. I don't have a problem with pre-order, but putting money down before the game is released is silly. I get pre-orders. In fact, I pre-order almost everything I buy, but I do it through Amazon where I don't pay a single cent until the game ships. Paying $5 at Game...
I'm not even sure I care anymore. Adding 3-4 times the HP for all the enemies just makes playing the game solo a big drag. Way to kill the fun for the solo player.
Orange, purple, doesn't matter what color. It's level 50 right now. Cap goes up to 61 and those weapons are going to be obsolete because they're going to stay level 50.
Starting tomorrow, those orange guns are going to get obsolete quick. Generally, I agree, but with the level cap, some quick easy purple guns to help me get through to level 61 will be nice.
I've stocked up 31 so far.
That was one of the few eye rolling moments through the event.
