I think you're right.
Most devs are not going to bother putting extra effort into making one version of the game look better than the other. I guess most of the differences will be native res and framerates being higher on PS, while the rest looks nearly identical.
To be fair, I don't think there's been confirmation of how much memory the PS4 will allocate for the OS. I do think the rumor is 1 GB, but I haven't seen any confirmation.

You're not going to be able to offload AI and physics to the cloud because of latency. This stuff has to be done as quick as possible. There are quite lengthy articles out there that go into a lot of detail about how bogus all this cloud talk is. I think one said about the only good cloud computing would be good for would be lighting calculations in some situations that aren't time sensitive.

Sony has already said you will be able to play games offline and an internet connection is not required, so with that in mind, yes, I will still buy one.
Reason being, there's no Kinect. I'm not one of the paranoid ones concerned about privacy, I just want nothing to do with it for games. I will however not buy a game that the publisher decides to lock down. If it's up to the publisher, I'll deny them my money.
You're pretty much completely wrong about 6, 7, and 10, and I'd guess probably more.
6, game saves can be copied, transferred, and backed up. That's the whole smurfing point of cloud saves. There are very few save files that are copy protected (this is determined by the publisher/developer). Even with copy protection activated, if you replace a HD and move all your data to the new HD, even these copy protected files will transfer.

When was Solidus first known to be in combat? All I can find is late 80s. This is supposed to be 1984 and he'd be 12 years old as well, but a bit advanced. Even if it's Solidus, he'd still be pretty young.

I think we're still getting trolled. Remember back to the GDC demo of the hospital escape? Sutherland is clearly the voice of Ishmael (bandaged head guy), not the playable character Snake. The video today seems to imply Sutherland is the new Snake, but with the way it's edited, it could be a ruse still.
edit: It also says Snake under Sutherland's name in the video today, not Big Boss. Maybe Ishmael is another clone.
