Yeesh. I commend them for getting this massive game running on the Switch, but imo it does a HUGE disservice to it. Graphics aren't everything, but the switch version GREATLY detracts from the overall experience imo.
Game was like $2.99 on PSN last night (maybe still is) - I bought it for that price just simply so my lazy ass doesn't have to swap out my disk version with other games when the expansion comes out
3, although just to play devil's advocate:
Still 3
Lol at the sony fanboys defending this. As someone who games entirely on PS4, this is such a dumb decision on their part. Just one step closer to having to buy each part of a game, rather than owning a complete package outright
"Please wash your game cartridge"
This is what happens when physical/offline editions go away, and the only option is digital. Buying a license to play their game, rather than owning the game outright. They can do whatever they want to it (including literally making it unplayable on older hardware).
Have high hopes for it - lets see how the games take advantage of the power.
Seriously, What a terrible take.
"This console needs to force consumers out of any physical option"
Im sure the specs are going to be excellent, and I actually really like the design... BUT I need to see the killer apps for me to be a day 1 purchase or not. As someone who historically isnt a Driving/FPS/Sports mega fan, I want to see some awesome games from M$
At this point I feel like PS+ is a necessity for any PS owner. I dont even care about whatever recurring cost I am paying (i honestly dont remember), but I definitely felt like I got my money's worth in games added to my library.
Now I just need to actually play them lol
Strongly recommend trying to hold off on judgement until near the end of Chapter 2 or even Chapter 3. The game keeps evolving way past that, but it really opens up after the first few hours imo
Just what the game needed. Armor sets
I enjoyed Wildlands enough to be interested in this, even knowing how horrid the reviews are. $16 is tempting, and hopefully it has been at least improved upon the launch scores
Thats awesome and well deserved but comments like "outselling the original" are always funny to me. Such an apples to oranges comparison
Cant agree enough. The souls series introduced so many game mechanics and standards that are constantly the basis and measuring point for other games today.
I was sad when it ended. I wanted more.
Hopeful for a strong sequel
He makes entertaining games. As someone who enjoyed MGS1-4 (never really got into 5) and am having a blast with Death Stranding, I will give him his due in making a fun game.
That said - his storytelling think is actually really overhyped. I have never been blown away by lore/story lines in his games (regardless of how outlandish he makes them), and many of the characters are cringeworthy imo. (Die Hardman.....)
Article was posted 1 hour ago and is already incorrect for Spyro
Poor girl in the picture must have severe scoliosis
Clearly a cop out of pax, just like e3. Im bummed but not suprised
