I was extremely pessimistic about the feature when they announced it, but honestly now seeing it in action its pretty cool.
I don't personally share much at all, but browsing Live from PlayStation is pretty cool.
Sounds like some government employees were caught playing WOW at work and needed a cover.
I'm sorry but Joel McHale was terrible. He seemed genuinely disinterested or "too cool to be there" the entire time.
Maybe I just don't get his humor , but the open mocking of developers, along with cringe worthy jokes... yeah I was incredibly underwhelmed.
Kind of a moot point until both companies roll out their solutions for actual gamers to try.
Im still skeptical that streaming games in HD is really going to be the killer app that so many people are expecting it to be. Neither my options of Xfinity or Fios has allowed me to stream 1080p without buffering issues from time to time, and thats just Netflix/Youtube...
FFX was easily my favorite FF game, and the update looks awesome.
Kinda wish this was out for PS4/vita streaming but I guess I can bust the PS3 back out
Alot like Heavenly Sword (which I thoroughly enjoyed), its the 6 hour (?) play time that kills it for me.
Can't justify a $60 purchase for a game I'd finish in one evening and the coop looked pretty meh to me. Happy to see its getting some good press though, would enjoy more Gladiator type games.
Bad Reviews? Fewer Sales? "Screw it, gets Ghosts 2 out by February" ~ Activision
Perfectly legitimate question, with disagrees because you own an xbox...
Good to know about the purchased games staying on the console even without a subscription (TIL)
Totally fine with the 900p upscale for a launch title, but am hoping they are able to reach 1080p native/60fps soon.
The patch for AC4 was the perfect example of what the difference running in native 1080p makes for a game.
Haha its nothing against Nintendo, but were they trying to use it to compete with 2 new Launch consoles and their entire lineups?
Had the game released a few months ago, or a few months from now I may have considered it. Right now too much money is going to the new consoles.
But thats just me, im sure others will still buy it
The bundle deals that shops are doing are ridiculous. Almost twice the cost of the console to get an extra controller and a game or two.
Really couldn't have picked a worse time to release this game. With all the hype around the PS4/Xbox One launches, you then release what would have been one of the bright spots in the Wii-U lineup..
What were they thinking?
Consoles are expensive as hell, and if history holds alot of them don't make a ton of money (based on hardware alone).
Im worried that if this thing turns into a money pit, we may see Steam prices increase to try and counteract losses.
Definitely off to a great start, but I hope they are speaking about longevity.
Successful launches are great, but the harder part is to keep selling well after few years. That said, there doesn't appear to be any hint of slowing down right now
Would I be happy if I won that thing somehow? Yes.
Would I personally spend $13k on a computer? No.
Nothing against people that want to own the "very best", but WOW thats expensive
I think the US is going to be much closer than alot of people are expecting it to be. I picked both a PS4 and Xbone, but know alot of more "casual" gamers that are only going to Xbox One due to name recognition alone.
Only a small subset of people know about all the launch and pre-launch drama/craziness from both systems, and while Im sure the PS4 will still sell more worldwide, I could easily see the US sales over the long haul being a tie.
So much butthurt. Who cares which company sold more on Black Friday. All that means is what company was able to stock more shelves to allow more sales.
Surprised how Killzone 3 and Forza 4 still look great by today's standards. So much time is being spent talking about graphics on launch titles, when really things aren't that different from last gen systems.
Cant wait to see what PS4/Xbone games look like in a few months when Developers have a few more time with the systems.
I noticed this as well. I find myself charging the PS4 controller more often than I would have liked, but luckily the cord is long enough where its not that big of a deal.
I wish they gave you the option to turn off the blue light though. Maybe that could save some battery, and then I wouldn't always have a blue light reflecting on the tv.
Enough of these polarizing garbage/flame bait articles. Having options is good for ALL consumers, only 12 year old fanboys have trouble grasping that.
