Play ARMA if you want a military sim. I had a blast with BF4, but seriously people need to get off their soapbox about realism in the series. Its a videogame designed to be fun

The entire battle mechanic also looked way stripped down, which also makes me think other aspects have really been gutted from the traditional pokemon RPGs in favor of pokemon go integration.

I actually don't really care for the enlarged text as much as the ability to manually change it. Bravo to their team for adding that in - seems so minor but wish more games had it. (I have always liked smaller UI's)
Oh I dont think they are doing it as a benefit to the buyer at all, but I think more and more companies will look to have complete control over their game, and requiring some stupid always connected model seems like an eventual step
Devil's advocate - I can definitely see single player games requiring an always online access soon though. So no titles wont "force" multiplayer, but I can certainly see more "always online" shit being implemented
More people care about graphics for still shots rather than physics. No surprise that more effort when into models and textures, rather than physics
For the primarily solo player - overall pretty minor tweaks/improvements it seems (outside of the resolution bumps). Would love to get this for Switch, but passing up on the 60fps... likely PS4 for me
If you are talking about a "looking through a screen" type of effect - I get that on PS4 regular as well. Have seen it in various games - no idea what it is but also don't think its very distracting.
