Bleeding edge tech will always be in PC. Consoles arent trying to match PC power due to cost for the general public. Yet it is funny to see the sony defense force attacking it
Right, and those are perfect examples - to me those loading instances don't break the experience. And I would hardly consider removing them in TLOU2 or God of War as Game Changing.
Im far more excited about other aspects of next gen, primarily more 4k/higher framerate support with more visual effects. but to each their own
Sure, but the SSD is only one part of the equation for enhanced graphic, ray tracing, advanced AI, etc.
The push for going from a 10 second load screen to 1 second - meh. Playing through TLOU2 right now, and not once have I thought about load times being an issue that will suddenly change my experience with a faster drive
SSDs are terrific, but wow the word "game changer" gets thrown around pretty easy these days. The hardware in both systems is still going to result in a much smaller jump than we saw from PS2 to PS3, let alone PS3 to PS4.
Im just excited to own a new system to play new games. Fanboys getting hyped about lack of load times or more efficient install sizes are out of their mind
Streaming sucks for gaming. And the powers at be are actively making internet access even worse, so shits going go get worse before it gets better
Odyssey's map was too large imo. Cumbersome at times to get around, and bloated with just filler space/low quality areas.
Good to see instances where esports teams give these losers the boot. I wish more could be done to hold people like this accountable for their actions
"Gah!". "Hyuh!". "Hiyah!".
"Ok, we're good!"
I like the controller, and the system when standing up.
But man that thing is ugly on its side imo
Ugh, while I enjoyed Nioh overall, I hated the stance dance. If Ghosts forces you to constantly adjust fighting stances as well, I'm gonna wait for it to drop in price
This is how you make a $500 piece of electronics, look like a $50 toy
That will be a pretty game on PC. I enjoyed on the PS4 Pro, but can only imagine what a nice rig will do with it
Lol "remastered".
Just "repriced"
Hell I was going to hold off until this game dropped in price until I saw the "outrage" from neckbeards. Purchased yesterday for the full $60 and now cant wait to play it.
Impressive little box
To each their own, but I've always thought consoles modded after games look terrible. This is no exception
If there are no loading screens, where am I going to get my helpful game hints such as "Try not to die in game. The leading cause of dying is death"
Lol N4G never fails the impress. 90% of the comments about how the accusers have no proof as evidenced from a pcgamer article.
I enjoy horror movies and games, but I honestly don't think I could bring myself to playing that in VR haha
And? Doesnt mean we should trash PC tech pushing the boundaries. Hopefully this stuff comes to PS6 or 7.
