Im going to get a PS5, but I also admit that the color and style is underwhelming to me. Black version will definitely help, but I have never cared for bent plastic/curved electronics. Just personal preference
Do the Square, Triangle, Circle and X buttons look really big in these pictures? On the plus side, the larger battery is definitely a welcome addition, and the overall bloated feel of the controller I saw from previous renders looks to have been toned down a bit/doesn't look quite so fat in person
Playing any game about 3-4 hours every day since launch to get to 500 hours would likely do that
Thats my point, rather than have a more impressive sale occasionally, I feel like its different sales literally each week - to the point where things aren't actually marked down anymore. The same game that is showing as 85% off at $7, was still $7, 3 years ago lol.
Ultimately - I dont care either way. But I just see N4G thrashing the author for an opinion in typical fashion, and I can semi-agree with them in that most game sales are kinda useless now/just noise.
I actually agree - but ONLY because the sales are meaningless. Its the same shit, being "marked down" each week now. And honestly I feel like the prices on these games havent changed in years.
Most PSN sales are fun to scroll thru once, realize I own all the games I care about - and verify that everything else was on a different sale last week, for the same price.
Hope my switch has enough horsepower to run this beast
The rounded sides and top make it look kinda bloated lol.
Its like the PS4 controller spent the last few years living in a McDonalds
Lol at your downvotes. How dare you enjoy part of a game
Isnt this... pretty common for most peripherals?
Definitely didn't need the reminder that the 90s were 30 years ago this morning...
Man I used to love Attack of the Show. Also it introduced me to Olivia Munn, so G4 will always hold a special place in my heart
While the 2 tone is interesting - just black for me please
Im really enjoying it at about 20ish hours in Id assume. Doesn't break the mold from the last game - and overall combat is starting to get a bit repetitive at times (I find myself enjoying exploring the beautiful world more fun than actual combat), but so far is an enjoyable, gorgeous game that people should absolutely buy and play.
Lol - this is a concern on capitalism in general/far beyond just gaming. You still cant deny that videogame prices have not gone up in what, like 2 decades? Thats what is so unique here
I think its wild that games have stayed at $59.99 for as long as they have. What else is comparable to that fixed price for such a crazy amount of time?
Lol - well I will say that Biran from FFX was the LAST thing I expected when I opened that page
Halo continues to be one of the most fluid feeling FPSs I have ever played - I dont know what about it vs the other big FPS names just feels so right with the combat.
That said - dealing with lag due to online streaming.... I just cant imagine how that will work
Just targeting 60fps for a lighting engine doesn't sound that positive to me. Only gonna be a bigger performance drop off with developers using it in their games...
Seems like pretty valid complaints even if people have issue with the score.
Im curious to try it, but for as hyped up as this game has been - I am definitely going to temper expectations
Lol - clever ad and well done.
