Just hit 30 without ever playing multiplayer besides DZ but have had a blast so far. Even before scratching the surface of endgame content, I think it was a solid single player game
Sure it had a decent amount of health and hit hard - but that actually looked like a pretty basic boss/straight forward mechanics
"Skipping the game entirely" seems like hilarious overkill. I never understood why people get worked up over what system gets to play a week before the other, etc.
Im suprised use videogame buy-back is still a thing in stores at all. How many other electronics do people resell back to storefronts? I know if I ever had to sell something electronic (phone, TV, etc) - I would try my luck selling it myself on ebay or something. I know Bestbuy, etc would just laugh me out of the store.
This isn't necessarily a gamestop thing, its just that service is NOT worth the cost to them to continue.
While I am not a fan of gamestop, its going to be sad when you can no longer walk into an actual game store and browse games
Im sure im the odd one out on n4g, but I am enjoying it (even with the bugs listed)
You realize if console gaming ever went "Sony Only" - it would be the same exact shit in the article right?
Unlike everyone wanting it to fail, I actually hope that long term they are able to add enough back into this game to make it worth my money. Until then though, not paying to try it out
Wasn't speaking "guaranteed" and realize its a moving target - just posted in generalizations. I would rather see the focus stay on removing the current hardware constraints from "artistic vision" at today's resolutions, rather than just pushing to increase res.
Give me a super pretty game with all of the bells and whistles the developers wants turned on at 1080p vs a stripped down game at 4k, etc.
Screen technology is far outpacing the hardware to run it. Its cool stuff for visual demos, but I hope gaming stays far away from 8K for the foreseeable future and instead consistently hits 4k (let alone 1080p) at 60+fps and full fidelity
MS just needs to get back to its roots with what made the original Xbox and 360 so great. The One X and One S are a great turnaround for this gen, will be interesting to see if they repeat the same missteps at the start of next gen.
Really don't think E3 is going to make or break anything
A good $50 money waster here
About 6 hours into Lets Go and the lack of wild battles is growing on me, but I will say it definitely takes some of fun out of the game. Just spamming pokeballs to try and catch every pokemon you see is no where near as rewarding as the challenge to try and actually fight it to a manageable health before attempting to catch it.
Why can't they just give the option for wild battles in settings?
"The game isn't wrong - its the gamers who are wrong"
....
Yeah as a recent convert to 4k - there is absolutely a difference in native 4k vs anything less than that (on my PS4 Pro). Anyone arguing there is no visual differences is just doing damage control for their system of choice.
and to qualify - im getting it on PS4 Pro (since I dont have an X), although im sure it would look even more amazing on Xbox judging from the horrendously compressed youtube comparisons I have seen (which even there show a huge disparity)
Disney surely would have been hurting with all the lost profits here...
Meh. These "deal" prices are right where most of these games are/can be bought for the same amount elsewhere.
After having put about 30ish hours into it, graphics are not the thing I would be shitting on. Game looks absolutely fine and runs great in 4k
Whole lotta meh imo
Ah good, just what this game badly needed. Them REMOVING content.
This was the "freebie" from a B2G1 target deal, and I still feel frustrated with what this game turned out to be.
