Although I agree that Warfighter fell flat for trying to have a story mixed with mindless violence, I also think that using a game like RDR feels out of place when trying to show that TPS are different. Marston is likeable, but he partakes in his fair share of mindless violence which is out of character... but that's alright and something wer accept because otherwise the game'd be pretty boring.
That, and I didn't know people were expecting Warfighter to move the genre for...
Don't forget condemned.
That game wasn't even available on steam... or at least, I never found it prior to the current sale.
"The first in the reboot had identity, Warfighter's identity is "well we didn't bother to move the bar, here you go.""
What identity did the first have?
It would make sense to me to pass the two recent MoH games as generic and lacking identity, but singling one out seems odd.
The story and gameplay follows from what MoH2010 did, except now you have driving instead of helicopter piloting. The core gameplay is familiar, but w...
Just because you haven't played them, doesn't mean they didn't exist.
I've played 1943, BF:Heroes, BF:P4F, BC1, BC2, BF3. Granted, only three of them are actually 'full' games.
Might as well include MoH now too since it is just Battlefield under a different name. It's the same thing as CoD now, except EA uses two IPs, while Activison puts them all under 'CoD'.
... then there's Darkness2 with quad-wielding.
So I guess I'll just stick with the FXAA injector.
^ Are you new to the internet?
It's customary to always make a mistake whenever you correct someone else. That way they feel less embarrassed about their mistakes.
We don't want to be destroying people's self-esteem here.
The paranoid behaviour of publishers is often more damaging than the financial hit of piracy itself. Same goes for the used game market. The actual losses aren't usually as big as what the publishers imagine.
Anyways, it's late into the generation. If console manufacturers can learn a few lessons and develop better methods of security, then things should be fine.
... and from what I've gathered, the big deal about the hack is that it allows hacked...
A future where you don't own your games nor your console.
Moneysuits must be creaming themselves at the mere though.
I think you accidentally a word.
... besides, don't they already attach each other?
Wasn't he a game designer?
Saying that he just rode on the backs of others is kinda stretching it. Sure, he has a team, but you still need a competent leader to guide the team (or be a pretty good actor to fake it succesfully for 20 years). Same holds true for any other game designer.
Also, the personality traits you've mentioned aren't really a good match for Activision. They want developers to exploit, not the other way around. That's why West & ...
^ The article talks about a hack that bypasses PSN's security, giving already hacked systems access to the service.
So the article is talking about the PSN as well as the hardware, since both have to be hacked.
That, and I'd consider the PSN to be very much a part of the PS3 anyways.
I thought it was a giveaway?
People just hoarded the free codes, and now they're trying to sell them. They don't really lose much if no-one buys them.
It's a bit different this time. Last time around, I don't think it was the LV0 keys which were released, but rather it was the psn passphrase.
Changing the pass-phrase like before with a firmware update won't be as effective for Sony because the new passphrase can now be decrypted quickly.
... so are we just ignoring what happened in May of 2011 now or what?
It might not be as hacked as other consoles, but it still gets hacked, like almost any other piece of hardware.
To be fair, BlackOps had bows too.
Now we have bows in Crysis3, FarCry3, BF3, AC3, BO2, Dishonored and TombRaider.
... but will it have pixar quality games?

PC version is discounted from Origin itself for people who own BF3 premium. (I actually have 2 spare codes for 50% off MoH)
Have you bought MoH or are you going to check out the trial?
The PC versions is 16gb in size, and assuming the PS3 version is about the same, that's a pretty hefty download for an hour's worth of gameplay.
"Which is why RE4 was the game that pretty much defined the series and is almost anyone's go to game when talking about Resident Evil?"
... that's sarcasm, right?
