I think the reason Forza3 got a higher score was mostly the benefit of being released earlier than GT5.
As with most scores, often an older game gets a higher score than a newer game which might actually be 'better' (but a game being better is an opinion anyways)
Forza was expected to be good, but it performed a little better than expected.
GT5 has bigger shoes to fill.
Theres also the difference that GT5 caters to a niche. Reviewers a...
Well, Steam doesn't really... do much. They're pirated just like everything else. It makes it more enjoyable for people who buy the game (some only buy a game if its on steam) but I haven't seen steam do anything concrete to stop pirating.
Though I'll agree that challenging pirates is never a good thing.
I honestly can't tell if Orochi is praising the game or making fun of GT5 fans.
Erosion.
Does that car really have a red background for the in-car gauges? My goodness.
Its your opinion, so its the "best racing game you've played".
It isn't the "best racing game ever" unless if you haven't played each and every single racing game.
Personally, I think there are better racing games out there, but the whole GT series itself has been one of the best racing game series ever, and GT5 doesn't look like an exception.
He's right though.
GranTurismo has always gone for a more surreal look.
Better simply means more visually appealing (it doesn't mean more realistic, because getting better than reality would be escaping reality).
Life, if you ever pay close attention, isn't all that visually appealing. He's right when he says that if you watch an actual race on TV, it won't look as appealing as a game's replay.
Crysis is another good e...
I believe its a jab at EA's 'online pass'.
Granted, that doesn't apply to any of EA's FPS games.
I think PCGamer gave it a 64. =/
I was just about to make that comment.
Internet hi-five for playing Secret of Mana. :D
Wait... so he doesn't have the right to promote his lifestyle? ... but others do?
Yer the one making a big deal out of it in the first place by firing your disapproval where it was neither needer nor wanted.
He simply said what was on his mind. You don't like it fine, move along. He doesn't have an obligation to cater to your needs nor should you feel thats the case.
I don't need a big screen HDTV.
Nubs don't know that you can just sit closer to a normal SDTV.
Being closer = bigger screen, duh.
*checks impulse* o.o!!!
Forget about Resident Evil, they have the STALKER bundle for $10.
Oh well, it's on par with a steam sale.
The truth is out there.
To be honest, BadCompany has never been a true Battlefield game. Though it works well as a primer for prepping people to move from CoD to something a little bit more complex.
It's why the "hardcore" PC fans are all panicking with the announcement that Battlefield3 will be on consoles. They're afraid it'll be small and scaled down like the BadCompany series.
Hottest male characters contest wouldn't be that interesting though.
You'd just have every male character from jRPGS duking it out with Snake's behind taking top honours.
I fail with any sort of dot-sight. =/
Guns feel the same if they all have the same styled reticle, whereas the irons give each gun its own little personality.
People who use an RDS on a shotgun make me question humanity.
You can look up videos on youtube. All weapons have the same bullet drop (including shotguns)
It's the enhanced zoom that makes it seem like sniper rifles have more drop.
Here's a vid showcasing it:
He's just a rich goon who has multiple writers hired to write posts for him.
:<
Anyways, looks like a lot of the rage-inducing douchebaggery will be eliminated. I just hope the hitreg/bullet-tracers is fixed on the PC.
Finally. Good to see DICE finally getting back to working on BC2.
Curse you EA for diverting their attention to MoH.
Most people hate Kotick because apparently he's rich and eats babies. Businessmen being greedy is a shocking concept for most people to accept.
Its why most people here are anxiously waiting for Activision to do something to ruin the company. They assume that Activision is stupid enough to shoot themselves in the foot by adding subscriptions.
... and if you think that's a stretch, wait till you hear the conspiracy theories.
