Screwdrivers... better than hammers?
I think my analogy nails it.
Maybe have ID build the engine?
I don't have a supercomputer =x
I'd let DICE do the sound.
Whoever it is that made Red Faction Guerilla can do the destruction.
Let Yamauchi be the quality control guy. Bruhurhurhur.
Valve + Yamauchi, the delays will be eye watering.
Though, destructions are part of physics.. which are handled by the engine.
Am I the only one who thinks that the end product won't be ...
I... hate... it.
It's like Atcama desert only with less stuff and bigger gaps between points.
The other maps are alright, but Heavy Metal just feels so uninspired.
Its a good map if you enjoy sniping or vehicle maneering.
I'm pretty sure one can play only tetris and make it through all of life.
Bugs! Bugs everywhere!
Run!!
I don't see what's wrong.
If I had to play those games, I'd contemplate death too.
What good would that do? He's already past dementia.
1. Strap monkey in front of keyboard with game's source code open in vi.
2. Come back one week later and compile code. If game is better -> Ship it as patch.
3. PROFIT!!
I think IndigoProphecy/Fahrenheit was the one that created the genre.
...but yea, I didn't think it belonged to the list.
As a matter of principle, I like any game that tries something different. Even if it fails, at least it does something new or different to add variety to the industry. (First Assassins Creed is a good example)
Though, as with most lists, it is subjective.
"Loving Father, Caring Husband, Secret Octopus"
Bwahaha, that is genius.
Good article, guess I have a few things to keep me busy during downtime. =)
EA should try buying Crash from Activision.
They seem to be on the reboot-train.
Fictional or not, I wouldn't wanna get on Crash's bad side.
Behind those shrubby eyebrows and snow-white teeth lies a mean bellyflop just waiting to happen.
Limbo...?
This list makes me weep.
Why would kotick have to be removed? O.o
EDIT: You need a reason to do something.
Removing kotick is an action, so it requires a reason behind it.
I don't see why kotick will have to be removed to have a Free-to-play CoD game.
F2P games aren't exactly a charity. =x
Forgive me for being off-topic, but Holy bubbles.
o.o
There seems to be posts being marked for trolling/attacks/whatnot a lot too.
Smokey just went from 'trolling' to 'well-said'. =x
Though, he's got a point (even if it is hard to figure out from the way it is phrased). When posting numbers, you need a source.
EDIT: I don't have doubts that GT5 sold well. I'd just like to know where the info is comi...
Well, why else are the cars wearing side-skirts?
Exclusives aren't really that must better than multiplats.
It's just the hype either side gives them because they want something to brag about for their system.
Though, some exclusives get an advantage by only having to focus on one system, but for each exclusive, there is another multiplat that was equally mind-blowing.
With that said,
*puts on fanboy hat* the best exclusive ever is STALKER!!
Well, stepping into this article and making a post is a good first step.
Ahh I see, I guess its not your cup-o-tea. ;)
I look forward to it since this "realism" is really draining games for me. They used to be about fun.
I bought Twisted Metal Black for the ps2 in its infancy and still played it while my ps2 was on its deathbed.
TM:Black and DevilMayCry3 got plenty of playtime from me last-gen since unlike the majority of other games, they had challenging difficulty.
I hope this new TM doesn't disappo...
<3 cars.
i.e. greater than three cars.
Use the K.I.S.S. principle and have one generic car for each genre of racing. Allow users to customize the shiznot out of it.
Too bad the principle only applies to arcade racers.
If it's a sim, then you have too many cars when you've run out of blu-ray space.
