This qualifies as a preview?
O.o
EDIT: Heh. =)
Well... it is getting a third sequel isn't it? =/
Actually, it is only a 1-shot-kill if you shoot in the upper-body/head.
Then you consider the delay of scoping-in and the bolt-action delay and it isn't any more effective than running around with an SMG.
I'm not sure about this, but I believe that CoD has client-side hit registration.
This means that if your screen has the crosshair on someone, it's a hit... even though the server knows they have moved a bit.
Killcams and theater mode show what the server sees. So there will be shots that look like they shouldn't have hit, but the person who made the shot had them in their sights.
... Then again, I've seen some pretty atrocious hit-reg...
no STALKER ...? or well, hell, even Metro2033.
I don't get how HL2:Episode2 wasn't 'stellar'. I enjoyed it more than some games on the list. Then again, it's all personal opinions.

Though, I'd take a Penumbra/Amnesia game over DeadSpace in terms of horror. DeadSpace just felt too cliché to be scary.
Yup, except it was JFK and Nixon who were doing it instead of two nameless soldiers.
That comment is a cheap shot at kaveti!
... I like where this is going. :D
Yup, the first one.
Throwing C4 into a Giant babie's brains followed by a trainride through a windows screensaver.
They still haven't explained the ending yet. =/
Shouldn't Half-Life be on this list?
Not something to be proud of. Some of those games were actually good.
My story: I went deep and I went hard.
Well, he was replying to Alfa (who said that GT5 is the best simulator to date) and he just stated that there are driving simulators on the PC that can compete with GT5.
(Whether one is "better" than another is just a matter of opinion/taste)
In that regard, he didn't say anything wrong and I don't see it as an attack on GT5's quality since being a good racing game doesn't necessarily require being a good simulator.
(I can't speak...
I don't think players of any modern games would stand a chance.
A skilled TeamFortress2 player maybe, but I wouldn't bet much money on that.
Wow.
Although I'm not a fan of the excessive head-bobbing and bluriness, that was pretty awesome.
It looks like a pre-rendered scene.

Although the multiplats do add much life, I wouldn't say that they're what's keeping PC gaming alive.
I've only played a few game that were "console games at heart", and asside from BadCompany2 (and maybe MassEffect2), none of them really held on to my attention.
So no, I won't acknowledge that consoles games keep PCs alive... but I also don't believe that consoles are holding PC back. =/
Didn't Quake also start the 'Is this the end of single-player games?' thing.
I still play QuakeLive from time to time. Not a lot of good fast-paced FPS games these days. =/
What we know about this game so far excites us. What we don't know, excites us even more.
Ever watched FightClub?
Could just be him killing the soldier but his mind making him halucinate someone else.
Same way that he kills the scientist. Looks like Reznov did it, but in reality...
I'm still debating with myself if BlackOps' twist was intentionally apparent midway through or not.
The twist was pretty apparent, but it got me interested even more because I wasn't able to fully understand what was going on. It even made the game creepy at some parts, realizing that your character has jumped off the fringe of sanity.
I'm not sure about Al-Mualim though. He looked evil, but he always had wise advice. It only became apparent w...

I'd make a counter-argument, but I think simply quoting that is good enough.
