^ You get to pick who plays the actor at the start of the film.
Then you wear these special glasses that photoshop the actor's face onto Shepard for each frame.
... wouldn't that be KZ?
For consoles at least.
Uncharted3 isn't an FPS....
... RAGE is though.
... Wonder what this means for all those adult-rated kinect games.
=/
Come to think of it, DukeNukemForever probably could've benefited a lot with kinect.
... it was last because it was expected to not be all that great (given Molyneux's recent track record)
Fool me thrice...?
You didn't notice Homefront's hype but you noticed Brink's?
O.o
I was expecting to see games like Haze and Lair and TooHuman...
... That's weird, because I coulda sworn EA was one of the few publishers that charges $60 for a PC copy you buy directly from their digital store, while a retailer sells it for $50.
...Where's that guy that spams SKYRIM in all his comments?
He needs to show up here.
Judging by the stuff mentioned in the article, it seems hardcore players won't really gain much benefit... unless if they stoop down to the auto-aim playlists.
So THAT'S your middle name? =p
^ You didn't read the actual article, did you?
All he's saying is that the footage shown is a from a high-end PC because they want to impress people. I don't see why you think he has to make his game PC-exclusives to make such a comment.
Not like he has a say anyways when they're on the payroll of a publisher.
... to end it off, you started bashing Crytek.
My oh my, you sure know what you're talking about.
"Christ the PSX could play copied games straight out of the box yet its one of the biggest selling consoles if not the biggest selling console of all time."
Though I do agree with most of your post, that part didn't exactly make sense.
A console/platform which is easy to pirate will have more hardware sales, but low software sales, because people will buy the system but won't buy the games.
PSP suffers from a similar problem I believe.
... how did GreyWulf get a 'well said'? O.o
LolKing's point is that a 60fps games will look worse than a 30fps games, and used Forza as an example of a game that doesn't look that great.
Wulf replies with GT5 looking better than Forza3... which doesn't add anything to the discussion.
Maybe if Wulf had said that GT5 looks better than Shift2, which he didn't, rather, he made a typical response that shows up whenever GT or Forza a...
@Midnty
(I fail at replying)
I've seen two trailer thus far.
One has a fair amount of gameplay, the other is fairly cinematic (you can hear Dante say something).
In both cases, the new Dante feels a lot more... serious. Not the wise-cracking yahoo we're used to.
So far, I haven't liked the vibe of the new character, but it remains to be seen what they do with it. I'm still feeling more cynical than optimistic.
I'd try to explain it, but unfortunately my understanding of law only goes as far as OBJECTION.
Well, demo recording has been in PC games for a long time.
It just that there weren't any integrated tools for editing recorded clips, so you had to render them out then use video editing programs.
So yea, it kind of was in BF2 the same way Theater mode was in CoD4 (The PC CoDs have had demo-recording too). =x
Cate Archer!
... unless if you count those demos/prologue.
Three games in a gen is hardly milking though.
As for the article... I don't know how/why it got approved.
... This will probably add nothing to the conversation, but am I the only one that confuses Take-two with 2k?
I don't know why.
Surprise me.
