I played Tony Hawk 1 and 2, they got really REALLY stupid and repetitive after those 2. I absolutely love the controls on this game, once you get the hang of it, theyre fantastic and really draw you in. Theyre right, it really makes you feel more like youre doing those tricks as opposed to button mashing. Download the demo from Xbox Live, i recommend it.

Out of curiosity, how do you know how many polygons are in Lair/Gears? Also, does it matter that much? Its not like i sit close to my tv and check to see if i can see an edge or anything. At a certain point AA and textures take care of it all.

In response to this article, procedural programming reduces the amount of space required. Perhaps they wouldnt have to cut corners if they pulled their socks up and made some nice algorithms to dynamically create textures. That would in fact be productive, and efficient. It would reduce space AND could be used to reduce dev time of future games. Because if they did it correctly algorithms could be re-used...
Panthers, i can see how youre an optimist. It may not be the PS3's or the 360's fault for GT4 being delayed. Stuff happens, plans dont run perfectly, they had that release date set more then a year ago. At least these publishers are trying to do the best they can.
I have a 360, not interested in this game at all. Konami has already said its exclusive, and that theyre only thinking about bringing it to 360. So i most likely will not be happening. HMV is not a (good) games dealer, i feel they dont really know what theyre doing.

This game looks so amazing. Btw, for the people higher up, the technology for voice matching is out there, video games just dont have the good code. Also im pretty sure this is coming out in a few months, so the rumours say.

It cant happen, dont believe him. If it could, then PC's would also be able to play 360 and PS3 games. Xbox is DirectX, PS3 is openGL. Linux people arent even able to access the PS3's gpu. So what im hearing is that they found a way to emulate 360 games with a different graphics library without the aide of a GPU...yeah right...
