The number of developers doesn't mean a thing. Everyone remember Goldeneye for the N64? All you need is a good imagination and good developers. The game started out with 2 guys messing around, and look what it developed into.

Woah woah...what happened to not being able to download games, due to slow internet speeds? People criticized my digital distribution theory, but now that Sony is doing it, its all fine and dandy? Like what the hell, some say MS fanboys do that, well Sony fanboys are no different.
Good thing for developers though, it doesn't seem like there aren't many limits to size of files for Sony developers.

Well sony does have to give hardware acceleration, which they could charge for. Also the guy writing the article make it seem as though accomplishing the install is hard, but on a regular linux system it isnt. You just get those libs and then make it. Its basically done for you if there is a Make file.
I dont know what this has to do with gaming, but it is very nice of them to do this. I can see they are working on improving their image.
Wait for a little, people are going to have their 360's downloading constantly for the next couple days, then it will die down and even out. This is also a good indicator that many people like the service.
P.s. Xbox Live is the only service that could pull this off, I believe in them, and im sure if they need to they will get more servers (but i wonder how they will pay for the software for the servers ;D).
Theyre right, MS should stop selling games altogether and just sell the console. It will just sit pretty in peoples houses.
But PS3 has Resistance, and Xbox 360 has Enchanted Arms, Mass Effect, and Blue Dragon. So they each have games from each others strengths (although Mass Effect is partially a FPS). But that was the point i was trying to illustrate, to each his own. Everyone likes what they like, so there is no point in debating.
Okay I have a good question, and I'm going to be completely neutral about it, why should i buy an Xbox 360 or PS3? Can any fanboy convince me beyond a doubt either way? What are you trying to prove by debating this, you aren't going to convince the other sides fans to buy your sides console. But honestly, try and persuade me to buy each console, someone can throw arguments for a wii in there too if the want.

Its not going to compress them by 50%, unless the WinRAR company stumbled across the greatest video compression of all time. It wont be compressed very much. But the smaller games and movies will have no problem being sent over the internet. Its only a matter of time until the PS3 is completely hacked, unless sony has total control with a rootkit ;).
