Oh also, you joke, but it could be streamed. I know a company that makes software that makes this possible. They can encode and decode HD on the fly, its quite amazing. Most major broadcasting networks use their software.
Lol this is my last comment on this thread, so i hope you appreciate my answer :), but its free to download, and you can make games. They will work on windows and everything is still free. When you make a Xbox 360 game you will have to pay in order to put it on your 360 and play it.

You have to have a basic knowledge of programming. You can pick up a lot of it with basic programming knowledge, there are tutorials. But its much harder to make a game then you think. Even tetris would take a day or two, depending on who's making it. Tetris is a good game to begin with, but it will take you much longer then a few days, because you have to learn how to do everything. Also, you have to have a good knowledge of object oriented programming to make a game thats efficient.

Screw 40 players. The major problem, with just 8 on 8 in halo 2, you wont be able to finish the game without people leaving. So its not that they cant pull it off, its that when your team leaves you and its 1 on 10, its not too much fun.

I respect your opinions but i disagree with many of them. Assembly can be embedded in MS's products like Visual Studio. They do this so that if people choose to, they can use the speed of assembly to do whatever they'd like, and all you have to do is add this:

Have these people tried their tvs on a 1080p signal before? And are they sure they have a 1080p tv? And to answer many peoples questions, yes, Microsoft went out of their way, through testing, etc, to make sure that it wouldnt work on a Sony TV (sarcasm). I have a sony TV and it works up to 1080i. 1080p doesnt work. Why? Its not a 1080p TV. What works on 1 TV should work on all TV's. Sony probably effed up the 1080p.

I love this, and number 5, i actually agree. They could programatically turn off the fans, which would cause the console to overheat, rendering it useless. That would be amazing. But MS went easy on them...this time. There are much worse things that they could do to these modded 360's.

Wow, Microsoft has the ability to brick the 360 that is modded. That is amazing, and I hope they do. These people are jerks and are taking away from the developers. I am beyond happy that people haven't cracked the 360's piracy protection.

Ok, im going to clear this up, people think it isnt possible, but HD movies CAN be streamed over Cable internet. The software is out there, and the most likely case is that the 24 hour rentals will be streamed from their servers.
