Actually I didnt say it was better then 720p I said it renders as many pixels as a 720p frame multiplied by 1.5. And the guy who said the thing about killzone, that would be inaccurate. It would be that in one dimension, but because all you did was multiply by 4, it would no longer be widescreen. The width and height would be drastically different then 16:9. It would be 1440p if thats what you were looking for...
Actually most of the comments were stupid and uninformed. One guy said that blu-ray reads just as fast as DVD, not true AT ALL from the speeds ive seen in the specs. Also some guy brought up Halo 3's 640p resolution...but failed to mention that it renders 2 frames at 640p each time, making it render the equivalent of 1.5 720p frames per frame.
Guess what, dont care! My tv only does 1080i and 720p and doesnt have HDMI. Its a sony...this player is cheap and ill get my 5 free movies, so i really dont care, its perfect for what i have. Most people dont have 1080p tv's fyi.
Ill defend bladestar on this one, as i see him being right. You guys are short sighted. Microsoft isnt doing this so that their gaming division makes money, but so all other divisions make money. If they block these devices from becoming the media center, then microsoft's Media Center Edition gets bought more...more money for Microsoft. Microsoft isnt stupid, they have a lot of money, and why do you think that is...from losing money?
Cant wait, go peter jackson :)
What? theres no difference between console data and PC data. Xbox runs off directx...same API buddy. The hard drive thing is a valid point though.
I was just on halo 3 and there were 1,148,000 players
I buy a console for games, not movies. It seems a lot of things are being pushed. I also dont use consoles for web browsing. Stop including useless features!
No where does it say its PS3. Both console system logo's are at the top, and the 360 one is first!!! :O! who cares, the game will be the same on both.
I dont know where you get this, but GPU and CPU are NOT the same thing. CPU's are more general purpose, GPU's have set functions they can do.
Theres a lot of info missing. Specifically what computer the GPU was in. If the cell was running a tiny linux operating system and the GPU was on windows vista...then the GPU wouldnt perform as well as it could have. But this is ray tracing, which isnt used at all in games. Id prefer an actual 3d scene that we can use right now.
or more then 1mb of ram :)
Shiro - who said i picked a side, im making fun of everyone. I know bill gates said that about the 1mb of ram (not about game consoles). How about people will buy the playstation at whatever price we put it at?
I actually cant think of another xbox one off the top of my head, ill work on it.
And i never mess up ;)
According to your figures and the ones the best buy employee told me...my best buy got 1/6th the copies of halo3 that the entire UK got...
but rumble isnt important...
To the nice people who disagree: I turned rumble off on my 360
Meus Interpretation - Fable 2?
You could do like the rolling stones and paint it black...
Its for the 360 as well, but im glad he enjoyed it. It is a fun game with fantastic graphics. Ive played the demo, but driving games arent for me...
Um....so what?
Youre right...sporadic specs are the best kind of specs...
Theyre offering free replacements/repairs, and will lose over a billion for it...no they arent sorry...
