It was hard to develop an emotional attachment to players like Dom that always died. It was a chore to revive him every other minute you played with him. If they improve some of the AI co-op, and make him better at holding his own, that is a one step improvement itself. I speculate that they DO improve the AI and Dom becomes a character you don't want to murder anymore. Also, probrably has a connection with Dom's MIA wife.

I would be quite happy if PS2 games became backwards compatible on the 40 GB unit. I would be willing to pay $5 for compatibility with a game I already own. Otherwise, I'm curious which games in fact are released and price. Considering most PS2 games are prices around $20, they should be priced lower; the overhead and retail cost isn't there. Make every PS2 game $10-15 and Sony could have a winner. I think I might have to upgrade my hard drive...:-p
Only 2 days before we find out which ones work right off the bat. Too bad the trophies won't be retroactive. Still, a great reason to go back and play an old game.
I do not like the Xbox 360 bumper buttons nor the PS3 R2/L2 buttons. Neither are very intuitive to me. I couldn't say I have a preference for shooters on Xbox 360 but I do like the triggers.
But you would have to rush through it...not something I'd recommend. I took my time and racked up 40 hours. If you want to get special achievements, you are looking at multiple plays averaging 40 hours at least for a 100% play through. Definitely not as short as Too Human. However, Too Human is an action rpg and shouldn't be compared to a story driven game such as Mass Effect.
You can play the game again with the same character and stronger enemies. Online co-op should offer something new...as well as achievements for extra incentive. Harder difficulties add more replay value. Downloadable content was promised at a later date to tie together the first game with the inevitable sequel. MK vs DCU seems like a gimmick. No fatalities? Superman? Granted Mortal Kombat fighters aren't everyday people...they aren't superheros either. Rather than add DC comics, why not reinvent Mortal Kombat period. I haven't enjoyed playing MK since the Super NES days. You can't accuse Capcom of changing the core gameplay in Street Fighter.
Or, I could be completely wrong. I'll reserve judgment until the game is released. Quite a few people are excited about this game, so I won't rain...
I can see the benefit of mod support, but the core game is the same. I don't play games for just mods, and I think the concept is quite new to console owners in general. Regardless, I already played the PS3 version and am not getting this one.

The truth hurts. If the majority of people on this site commented on something original or outside the box, his comment wouldn't be applicable. That is not the case. He didn't individually point out anyone either, so you can't assume he was talking about you. If anyone on this site says anything thoughtful or critiques anything outside of status quo, they are lynched. All I see are individuals making fairly obvious comments, and adopting conformity, to "fit in" on a blog.
I think people might be jumping the gun. Unless there are further confirmations of "refurbished" systems being sold at retail, this is rumor at best. Aside from Gamestop/EB, who else sells refurbished consoles? It doesn't make sense is all I'm saying. The reason why this rumor smells even more fishy is because Gamestop already sells refurbished systems. Why would they jack up the price when they are already selling them a $219.99?
