Who knows why the guy stole the stuff. It could be for any reason. It's unfortunate that stereotypes exist...however it is stuff like this that propagates them. Stealing is a colorless crime, just like blogging (unless you specify your race of course).
I don't think most gamers spend 30K...I buy around 15 games a year for all systems a year. I spend on average $900 on software. A conservative estimate of money spent on hardware is around $550 a year (roughly one console and a handheld per year, given my systems are 1 to 3 years old). My gaming bill is around $1500 a year (including Xbox Live!). I game on a 22 inch Samsung LCD and a couple of SD TVs. Unless people are spending 15,000 on a TV and sound system and another 15 grand on software/...
It is one thing to sell a cell phone as a gaming centric device, however the "N-gage" platform idea is not well thought out. If there were "N-gage" specific phones you could buy from any and all carriers...and not just Nokia branded phones...I could see this "service" going somewhere. Its a shame they can't get it right. One day cell phones might rival handheld "gaming" systems; however I don't see this happening anytime soon. The iPhone isn't even a gr...
Obviously this guy like girls...otherwise, why would he be in a Penthouse Pet sandwich? He seems nervous, though how many people can say they got that close to a pornstar? It is only respectful (and decent) not to look at the jubblies, pornstar or not. Eye contact is another matter.
I don't recall defeating Big Boss as Solid Snake in Zanzibarland. The Metal Gear series has always been confusing because of the massive amount of history (thank you Metal Gear data base). Game play wise, we haven't played as Solid Snake through the events of Metal Gear 1 and 2...other than on the NES. I don't know about you but I don't want to play Metal Gear 1 and 2 on the NES. A remake of those 2 games on PS3 would be sublime.
Inflation has made Xbox Live cheaper then ever. In other words, 50 dollars 5 years ago was harder to swallow. Today...I spent $70 on gas for my car. If you were to tell me 5 years ago I would spend $70 to fill up my gas tank, I would think you were joking. The cost of living has gone up and Xbox Live has stayed the same price. Games have increased in price by $10 in comparison. The cost of Xbox Live has nothing to do with the cost of network access. Different price for a different service. Do...
If your offended as an individual you seriously need to rethink what is important in life and be more humble. This shouldn't offend anyone. 1080i is HD, however I think the comment was taken out of context. If the comment was: "1080i is almost "full" HD" no one would cause a fuss. Even if it wasn't taken out of context, who cares? I have an "almost HD" TV and don't feel inferior or insecure in the least.
You have an Xbox 360 to play Ninja Gaiden 2? Did you borrow one and play the game all the way through? Someone brings up Haze and YOU promptly dish out some Xbox hate...sounds odd. Good grief, I can't take anything you say seriously, except your lies.
On topic: 3.5 is a little harsh but is only one review. A single review shouldn't change your opinion of any game. If you don't believe the review, rent the game first before you decide to buy.
Valve owns the rights to the game. The purchaser of the game owns the license. EA didn't maliciously write bad code either.
and no one is getting paid to write negative comments.
I enjoyed the time I've spent with GTA IV so far, however I wouldn't go so far as name it the beginning of the end. If there is any game one could name as the "beginning of the end," I would say MGS4. Look at the production values and attention to detail. The open world technology, and production values (100 million dollars) are impressive in GTA IV but the experience itself is unrefined. MGS4 has an extreme attention to detail and ties up every loose end in the series. GTA IV canno...
And your point is?...I don't follow. A bad game is a bad game, plain and simple. Just because someone owns a 360 doesn't mean they have to buy it. This game won't sell period. No one needs bad games and thankfully there are people paid to play bad games so we don't have to.
Otherwise I would be more interested. What service is this phone tied to I wonder...I hate locked US phones:-(
Nice body and all, though I couldn't see the bitties all too well. Is the beginning of part 3 the only part you see her? I feel like I'm 14 again...and such a perv, lol.
On topic: I like pic 2. Side view of jubblies are nice.
It would be cool if Konami pulled a MGS3 and created another prequel. What if MGS5 took place during the events of Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2. In that way the original NES games wouldn't be the only gameplay references to Zanzibar Land and the defeat of Big Boss. Even still...I wish there was a proper sequel. A clone of Snake perhaps? Or maybe someone finds a cure to Snakes aging...with nanomachines or something. Wishful thinking, I know:-p
If you don't like Final Fantasy don't review it. If Crisis Core contained the same turn based combat system as the "sequel" the reviewers probrably would have scored it even lower. Granted there are always those who aren't going to like a game for what it is.
Not the game I played. MGS4 is a game you can play multiple times in many different ways. Stealth or action may be used to great effect. Personally, it was fun mixing up the action w/ stealth and visa versa. The type of gun you use, the customization of that gun, your octocamo, and management of ammo/items is particularly rewarding. Also, if you rush through the game, you are bound to miss easter eggs, hidden guns and weapon attachments. Want to have fun with the guards? Plant a mine, get the...
And believe MGS4 is amazing any way you look at it. I didn't feel like the story interfered with the game in the least. The story allows you to care about the characters and truly immerse yourself in the game. I've never played a game in which I cared so much for the characters (Snake especially; love the old guy). Truly a unique experience. The game is not short in terms of gameplay and you can play the game any way you wish; stealth or guns blazin'. I've had quite a few wtf moments already ...
Considering the game isn't very good looking to begin with...why are graphics an issue? Commando 3 is also a downloadable game and not a good representation of the kind of graphics PS3 OR 360 is capable of. I would like a Battlefield: Bad Company comparison please.
I don't know why people make a big deal out of what wasn't promised. You can compare and contrast the prequels all day, but Doom 3 delivered an atmospheric, and scary experience. I dare you to play this game by yourself, with the windows open, in pitch black. I dare you.
I can understand why PS3 only users are tepid about purchasing id software; after Orange Box and Quake Wars, you can't really expect much. The good news is, things can only get better or so we hope. Personally, ...
