It is stated that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will launch at the same time OUTSIDE of Japan. The Japanese PS3 version is being released first, than the US 6 months later on both consoles; probrably followed by a release in the EU 6 months later on both consoles. You act like Microsoft is the reason behind this. No one knows if they paid for FF13 so don't assume they're the reason behind the delay. Square is trying to deliver a product to the largest possible audience. Would you rather sell to 10 million consumers or 30 million?

Every console manufacturer copies one another. Its a fact. Microsoft released the Sidewinder motion sensing PC controller long before the Wii. Sony used Xbox Live as a template for the last two firmware updates. Microsoft is stealing Nintendos Mii's (Avatars) and Sony's Singstar franchise (Lips). What is the big deal? Imitation is the highest form of flattery and competition drives the industry forward.
People forget that a 120 Gig hard drive exists. I predict M-soft docks the price of the 20 gig so the 60 sells for $100. Likewise I expect the 120 Gig to sell for at least $30 dollars off...or has that been reported already and I'm reciting memory? :-P
I'm curious to see what differences there will be between the versions technically. Each game will probrably have a couple strengths and weaknesses; which one will be superior? Having no clue, FF13 was coming to 360 I naturally was anticipating on playing the game on my PS3. One too many choices now...:-P

There are so many other and new games to play, it begs the question of whether its worth it. Downloadable content definitely won't be worth the $50 million that was paid for it. You never know though...might be good. My initial reaction to the content being delayed was dismay; I gradually stopped caring. E3 also has the effect of pushing new games on you that you "have to have" right away. I hope its good but I'm not expecting too much:-P

So...the 360 version isn't getting the PC character updates or did I read things wrong? What do they mean by "weapons unlockables?" Hopefully the PS3 version will get patched and updated as well or else a loss of respect (for Valve) will result.
Why did it have to be a firesale???? Is Microsoft stupid? The whole point of a price drop is to be competitive. $300 is competitive. $350 is not. $50 dollars for an additional 40 GBs? I'll pass on that. It makes me angry that those who would like to upgrade still have to shell out top dollar. The stand alone hard drive is a little easier to swallow...if its not priced more that $100. Still...why?

But maybe it is. I don't understand what makes this mouse more portable than any other laptop mouse on the market. Then again, I don't know the dimensions of said mouse. Looks trendy, maybe it will catch on?
