Personally I can't wait for this game. Killzone 2 will be awesome. I'm glad that the game has a more realistic/slower pace to it than other arcadey/twitch shooters on the market. I hope it plays more tactical than simple run and gun.

Personally, I think Sony would do well to bundle Little Big Planet with every PS3 sold. They have a winner in LBP and should exploit it. Everyone who has a PS3 should play it.

Price it $20 and improve on the save system and I will buy it. I have the 360 version and love it...though it has its quirks. It is truly a hardcore game.
I don't recall God of War being confirmed for 2009. If it comes out in 09...cool, however if it could possibly be better if released in 2010, than thats when it should come out. I want the best GOW game EVAR.

Personally, I'm very disappointed with the Storm. I was hoping the phone was at least on par with the iPhone though it doesn't measure up by a long shot. Being as how I have Verizon, and stuck in contract till next Oct, I'm hoping a revised version comes out. Otherwise, I have heard excellent things about the Samsung Omnia.

Come on people, it doesn't matter. GTA IV was a lower rez on PS3 and no one cared, same thing here. If you love Tomb Raider and have both consoles, you might want to get the "superior" version but for everyone else...
I'm not sure I could argue that Gears 2 isn't a buggy mess :-( I made a post earlier commenting that matchmaking times were improved...however these bugs are a game ender. Guess I'll be playing Left 4 Dead and Resistance 2 until they patch things up.
I was playing Left 4 Dead co-op the other day on Xbox 360 and one guy admitted to copying discs....We got into talking about how Circuit City was selling 120 GB hard drives for $80; he asked whether you could install a copied game onto the hard drive. I also gathered he had a modded console. I thought about reporting him though I figure he will get what he deserves when his console "magically" bricks.
There is no way the the actual trailer will top this masterpiece. Captured the essence of a Uwe Boll movie though....never know whats going on:-p (although I've only seen youtube clips of his movies).

Why can't Xbox 720 use blu-ray? Obviously physical media isn't going away anytime. With 400 GB blu-ray discs, there is no reason not to use the blu-ray format. I think of it this way: Sony uses Windows in their computers...Microsoft can use blu-ray in their next console. I don't think any company is above making money and avoiding more R&D. If I remember correctly...if you move the console when it is on, you'll get a nice circular scratch. The question is: why did this guy continue to use his 360 if it was scratching his games? Very dumb on his part. FYI, if anyones console is scratching discs...don't put anymore discs in the tray. If you do continue to put discs in your tray, promptly sue.
Insanity? More like stupidity. How could you ever even think of killing your family? There is no such thing as game addiction. So called "game addicts" aren't addicted to games, they suffer from social problems, OCD, and other psychological problems. Granted there is nothing wrong with a day wasted on games, there is no excuse for killing your parents.
News 4 Killzone is what this website should be called now, lol. I don't mind being as how this game is shaping up nicely. Looking forward to this game. The game could very well sell itself, however, marketing needs to be done, and right.
Why is everyone rushing to the defense of this game? Granted that Famitsu has made questionable reviews in the past, generally, they are right on. Considering rpg's are more popular in Japan, you would think that any rpg would score a little higher than in the West. I won't pass judgment yet...but you can't overlook this review...

Edit: I agree though that if Microsoft didn't announce it as exclusive, there is always the possibility of porting it. Also, Microsoft isn't publishing the game; the biggest reason it will be timed exclusive. It would be kinda silly not to make it multi. The 360 version will sell a lot and move consoles, however the PS3 install base is still a lot larger.
Sorry to ruin your parade but DVD is able to upconvert to 1080p. The point of the article is not that blu-ray is a doomed but the benefit over DVD is not as extreme as DVD vs VHS. Before you say I'm a bleepin fanboy, I have a PS3 and just purchased a 1080p 40 inch Samsung. The difference is amazing to me however many non-technophiles won't be as impressed.
