I have a SSD in my netbook and admit I'm not happy with it. Wish I got a standard laptop drive. Also the lifespan of the drive is supposedly less.

I see Crysis every time I see Cryostasis :-p I bet it won't look as good.

@ 8.1 Bubble

The problem is that most individuals avoid reading the articles and dive straight into commenting.

If only everyone knew what we know eh?

I wouldn't mind a year long grace period (of inactivity) rather than 3 months though.

The solution to the aforementioned problem:

Automatic pay. This prevents this very issue from happening. You can always get a refund for the service and/or cancel automatic pay. This way you don'...

I appreciate your quest to end misinformation, though I wish you helped me with number three point O

Sometimes I confuse certain terms. Sorry. Perhaps this clears up what I meant to say:

"No more “Loading” pauses when moving too fast. Elevator load times are identical (hardcoded)"

And yes, I am who I say I am. Add me on Live if your still skeptical.

You know as well as I do that a LIVE gamertag is nothing more than a few MB. There is no reason this information cannot be retained for at least a year.

I don't know where you went to school but more than 2 games fit on a 60/120 GB hard drive. I have a 120 GB and have all 4 discs of Lost Odyssey installed- 28 GB total. I have Gears 2, Left 4 Dead, Fallout3, Ninja Gaiden 2, Cod: WaW, The Orange Box, Bioshock, GTAIV, Mass Effect, AND Dead Rising installed. One or two games my butt.

The games themselves take less than 5 to 8 minutes to install. In games with lots of streaming (think Lost Odyssey and Mass Effect) initial load times a...

Can't beat Amazon's blu-ray prices. Hopefully competition drives the price of blu-ray players & movies down sooner than later. I can't stomach paying any more than $20 for any movie.

Maybe people will listen now. I'm amazed every time some Christmas noob runs and guns for the witch....even after I tell them not to. On hard, your as good as dead.

Thanks :-) It looks like my netbook wasn't supposed to run Windows 7 in beta; all on account of the SSD. I wish I had trusted my intuition and not purchased an SSD netbook...grrr. It runs ubuntu great so I can't complain there, however I wanted to see some Aero on my 10" screen, lol.

Internet Explorer 8 (beta 2) seems pretty fast but I quickly switched back to Firefox 3. It was very temperamental and wouldn't work so well with websites such as eBay...of which I'm a frequent buyer/seller. The problem would result in the page refreshing unnecessarily. I found that this was a problem in many of my user/password websites (not just eBay). I would get booted for some reason back to the home page and have to log in again. Made me feel as though my privacy and security on the net...

Still using Office 03 on my desktop computer. On my netbook I'm rocking out with Open Office. If you ever find yourself Officeless after a purchasing a new PC (most don't have it), do yourself a favor and download Open Office. Exactly the same as Windows Office (almost). All the files are compatible between the two versions. Makes me wonder how Open Office isn't subject to copy write....:-p

I still don't have fiber in my city :-( Hopefully soon. In my opinion, Comcast is over priced compared to FIOS. I can't complain about the speed but the price for the speed. NEVER get AT&T or be prepared to lag in every online game you play. I'm convinced "the host with the most" lag has AT&T, every time (provided your playing on a P2P network). Nothing against Live, sorry if you have the aforementioned service :-p

I am still trying to finish the first game. It is truly a hardcore game if you are trying to save all the survivors. Blaim it on the AI or whatever but it takes a lot of skill to safely escort 50 survivors. I hope that save system as well as the escort missions are revised. Otherwise a gem of a game. Too bad the Wii version isn't cutting it. I was actually interested to see if it added anything...or at least made it easier :-p

I heard that Microsoft was releasing a "netbook" version. I am interested in trying Windows 7 on my Eee PC 1000 but am not sure it would run 7 Ultimate. Anyone know if I would be able to run it semi-decent? I am going to upgrade to 2 GBs of RAM soon as well. I'm currently using Windows 7 with my Desktop. Outside of Internet Explorer 8 being temperamental (install Firefox right away) I am very impressed. This is coming from a beta tester of Vista whom never upgraded thereafter.

Killzone 2 has enough meat for 2 games it would seem. Glad there is no collectors edition. It should mean that no resources were wasted and everyone gets the best version. Youtube provides enough DVD commentary for just about anyone and its free. I'm glad I'm not paying $10 more, although Killzone 2 would have been a game I'd pay extra for.

I purchased a 40GB a year ago and just upgraded the hard drive. Used my old laptop hard drive of 80 GB. In my book I made a free upgrade.

Speaking of upgrades I also shelled out for the 120 GB Xbox 360 hard drive. Knocked me back $135 (free ship) on Amazon.

With all these new games, you got to have enough storage. 40 GB and 20 GB (respectively) didn't cut it.

Good deal I must say.

I don't care which system has better titles so long as I get to play them all. Despite being a million of these articles I never tire of them; they confirm whether or not I will be interested or not and the general consensus on said title. Looking forward to quite a few games...hopefully 09' has games that are spaced better than 08'. Its no fun buying a bunch of games in the Fall, have no time to play them all and then have a backlog of games with zero money to spend for worthwhile Spring tit...

Definitely made me more interested in the game. Lost Odyssey was rated similarly (if I recall) and I purchased it regardless. I feel that no matter what reviews a game gets, the only thing that matters is perspective. You seemed to capture what its like to play this game. Great job. Btw, your English isn't so bad. :-)
