Mass Effect 1 more than likely isn't being ported. Unless Mass Effect 1 is ported and available by the end of the summer, no way. If ME2 comes out within the first few months of next year, even less likely.

The only reason I believe ME2 (not 1) could come to the PS3 is on account of Dragon Age coming to PS3 and 360. Since Dragon Age is coming out before ME2 (in the Fall) it could provide enough time to make a PS3 port of the 360 version. Also, it means that Bioware is fully acqua...

You have a very strange perspective. You try to sound unbiased and neutral, yet you come off as the biggest fanboy on n4g. Trading a 360 copy of Bioshock for a PS3 copy? LOL. Waste of money and waste of time. I hope you liked the challenge levels. The only game I plan on re buying for PS3 is NGSII. The game is an improvement over the old one. Can't say the same for Bioshock.

It blows my mind that you even suggest you have an Xbox. If you listed your gamertag I might believe you (...

Thanks for the link.

It pisses me off that all these MMO's get canceled. I'm still bummed about True Live Fantasy Online for the original Xbox. It makes no sense why FF11 is the only MMO on the 360. Its not like people aren't willing to pay to play. Surely 360 owners are used to LIVE fee's. Perhaps Gold members would get $5 dollars off a month...I digress

I was hoping Huxley would come out for the 360 just to see another MMO. I can't say that I've really embraced MMO...

People seem to forget that NGII and Sigma II run on entirely different engines. NGII for the 360 runs on the same engine as the original Xbox with enhancements. NG Sigma ran on the Sigma engine, created for the PS3. Sigma II also uses the Sigma engine and is being optimized. Therefore we can expect 60 fps and 1080p when it comes out.

Still a killer game that I try to play as often as I can (haven't unlocked everything yet myself). Despite having fewer ranks than everyone would like it doesn't bother me. Why do we play games? To get trophies, achievements and ranks or because the game is fun? It should be the later. The other stuff is additional. MGS4 doesn't have trophies. Does anyone care? Not really. We play games for fun. Take it beyond that and gaming as a hobby losses its luster.

Despite having fewer ran...

That is the truth. Ghost cam allows you and your team mates to coordinate attacks and "spy" on the enemy team...even though you are dead. Party chat is not a problem in any other game.

Maybe in my backyard on a 100 foot projector screen. Jk...I can wish.

On topic: I think the best places to take COD:MW2 are places of conflict. Iraq and Afghanistan are good choices although I would prefer to see the game outside those hot spots. I could see the sequel taking place in Somalia (pirates...arrr), Pakistan (Taliban refugees) and/or Sri Lanka (borderline civil war). There is a lot of political unrest in each country. More than likely the game will take place in famili...

I love my linix netbook as well. It connects to the internet instantly. I recommend downloading Ubuntu Eee. Its optimized for the hardware and you don't have to find drivers for everything.

@ Morgan above- I don't think I agree. Linux is becoming more mainstream but it is no where close to Windows numbers yet. Only 30% of netbooks ship with Linux. Link:

The reason consoles and games are so expensive in Brazil is because of the huge import tax. Brazil has a protectionist type of economy and much of it still comes from oil, ethanol and sugar. The reason the Zeebo will be a success in Brazil is because its except from import tax. Its home grown and priced to sell.

The service is too ambitious for today's networking speeds. Once everyone has fiber or cable for that matter I can see OnLive being a success. Not today. I would almost compare it to the Dreamcast and its at the time online capabilities. Too ambitious and not mainstream enough to be successful. Perhaps Rearden Studios will be courted as a possible acquisition. I would LOVE to be able to play any PC title of my choosing. I never thought I would play Crysis and perhaps one day I shale...and soo...

You guys must download a lot of HD porn ;-) Jk

On topic- America won't universally have speeds like that for 5 years. We are definitely behind when it comes to bandwidth. Millions of people still use dial up...:-p Perhaps the service will find more success in Europe.

Looks like a must buy to me. I was worried it would only be a port. Glad my assumptions are wrong. :-)Day one purchase.

"Sigma 2 will feature an all-new online co-op mode that lets you and a friend team up to work your way through more than 30 challenge stages."

I interpret this to mean there is co-op but not through the campaign.

More is always better.

Ad Hoc is already available. We don't need BC. We need a cheaper PS3. Good decision on their part.

Less RAM usage for XMB? I'm not an expert but I assume one of the spu's of the Cell handles the XMB. Someone explain this...

This game most likely won't sell well. Very bad for Sega...House of the Dead, and Madworld are selling poorly. Conduit will prove that 3rd party titles on the Wii just don't sell very well. I hope it sells well but I know it won't.

The Zeebo shouldn't be a flop. It is intended to be cheap and for "emerging markets." If it was sold outside of its target countries it wouldn't do very well. Then again, stranger things have happened...like the Wii selling 50 million.

Last gen, the PC was the only platform that received consistent updates. They add to the experience and correct bugs/problems that wouldn't have been fixed in the first place. These days, if a publisher doesn't patch a game I feel they are lazy if the game isn't 100% bug free. What game isn't buy free? Can't think of one, lol.

Nice find. Makes me wish they included the additional character models. Maybe one day as DLC? Off the record, I watched Quarantine and it made me think of L4D...almost a movie prequel of sorts.
