I haven't played the past Yakuza games but am looking to jump into the series. Sega still hasn't given me Shenmue 3...so Yakuza 3 looks like the closest thing I'll get. The game looks awesome, lets hope it gets localized to Euro/NA soon.

Where is Ninja Gaiden II? That has quite a bit of blood and the enemies bodies (and limbs) "never" disappear. Honorable mention perhaps...

The price shouldn't be all that high. I'm not sure people are willing to way $200-$300 more for a transparent keypad.
I believe each console should be perceived by its own merits and shortcomings. With that said, there is a difference between fanboy, and gamer/fan. Fanboy's feel the need to justify their purchase and bring down others in the process. They're console purchase is in a way tied to their sense of identity and pride. I don't think its possible unless internet providers sell the MID at a subsidized price with subscription. I'm interested in one simply because I don't have WiFi on my phone.
I think its a bold statement to say that any new technology is hard to develop for. It takes time to get used to. The PS3 architecture is new and as such took longer for devs to get used to. This is not to say its hard to develop for but there was a learning curve.
I just want the SD card update and expanded support for larger size cards...
The game looks pretty darn good. Although for me God of War has never been about the graphics. I got a PS2 later than sooner and missed out on a quite a few gems. In playing GOW 1 and 2 I was already used to playing on PS3/360. More reason to get excited :-) The art direction is the most distinguished aspect of the game. A 7 is not a bad score. Considering that Edge reviews games as harshly as they do...not bad :-)I usually tack on 1 1/2 to 2 points on to the score and call it a day. In that way their review is more in line with metacritic :-p
The Lost and Damned comes out on Wednesday (b4 Killzone 2). Way to ruin the fun parade. If you don't care about the DLC, go find some "PS3/Killzone 2 is the bestest article."

If your TV accepts Full RGB and your TV is calibrated to take advantage of it, then it is probably the better setting.
My TV on the other hand doesn't not accept it (didn't know at first). Full RGB made blacks appear as crushed. As a result, RGB limited made things look much better.
The comparison is interesting to say the least. Case in point, Gamespot should use RGB limited with the TV that is used. Too dark.
I'm getting all three, however I doubt Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 will be out within the year. The release dates for either have never been confirmed. When you have a AAA game, you release it when its done. Killzone 2 is not even out yet, why can't we enjoy it a while before we get excited about the others?
How can you justify this game? The difference between video games and other forms of media is that YOU have the choice to change the outcome. It is sick enough that there are books and movies that cater to rape enthusiasts.

Lost revenue is the only negative aspect of businesses not upgrading to Vista. And whats the point with Windows 7 coming out within the year? No point. Also, scare tactics only get you so far. Its a bad idea to chastise your customers. Is there any incentive to upgrade to Vista when businesses have to pay full price to upgrade again to 7? NO
Day one purchase for me.
Depends on what kind of gamer you are. If you are concerned with playing a good game, then you should be excited and nothing more. If you attach pride in being able to play a good game, then your misguided. If you think the 360 is losing an exclusive, your mistaken. Everyone gets to play the game now. No reason to get upset either way.
I predict that MGS4 will be re-released in a "platinum" version with Trophies. I will not be happy when I'm compelled to re-buy this game :-p
@ 2- agreed Konami needs to add the maps to PSN and do away with Konami codes to play. Main reason I don't play the multiplayer.
