Love this game. There isn't anything quite like it. The better campaign of the 2 included is still Butcher's Bay, however you don't want to miss out. Multiplayer is a lot of fun too. Check it out. Buy it! I want a sequel :-)
lol- too funny.
On topic: Depending on which DVD drive you get, the noise varies by quite a bit. My original 360 had a very loud Hitachi DVD drive. My new Jasper has a very quite Ben-Q. To eliminate the noise even further I install all my games to the 120 GB drive. Also, installing games to your hard drive keeps your system very cool, even after hours of game play. Try it.
The reason the Dreamcast died was because it was pirated to death. You could make back up copies with ease...with CD's no less. I recall playing a copy of Headhunter after Sega discontinued the Dreamcast. It wasn't even released in America. People have fond memories of it because it was innovative. The games to this day are unique and more importantly, fun. The online was also something console only users never experienced before. I assume pirates would think fondly of the Dreamcast too...you...
Kinda crappy logic. You would think that retired NFL players are happily retired and rich. No one cares if their likeness is used in Madden or even aware for that matter. I dislike EA as much or more than the next person, but it seems pretty desperate for ex-NFL players to sue. Perhaps the rest of the players took notice after the last settlement of 28 million. Hmm...
Baka- perhaps I appreciate games for more than polygons. No wonder I'm one of the few people that purchased a niche game such as Okami. Graphics don't matter to me so much as the game play. A good looking game doesn't equal good game. The appeal of GTA in 3D is obvious. GTA 3 was a run away success and hence why Liberty Stories and Vice remakes were successful.
Q-dog- I give the PSP plenty of credit. The size and scope of the games are great. Its fun...if you haven't played the o...
I think everyone is jumping the gun a little bit, including the article. The NPD is not the end all of game sales. Add Europe/Middle East into the mix and you have a healthy number. Also, the game isn't out yet in Japan...the DS's home town. I guarantee there are plenty of gamers over there whom will buy this game; maybe even more so than NA and Europe combined. Also, the audience for GTA:CW is there, its just a matter of time. We are still in a recession and many people have to justify ever...
Neither of the psp GTA's are great looking games. The psp remember is a portable ps2. Now that we're used to playing PS3 (and 360) games, graphics of a hand held don't look so hot. They don't wow me in any way. With that said, creating a unique look for a game, with good interface and spot on controls are what make any hand held game worth while. GTACW is not a quick cash in and couldn't be done on the PSP because of the interface/controls. The visuals are top down 3D (like GTA 1 & 2) how...
Piracy.
I remember playing Headhunter on my US Dreamcast. A friend let me borrow it. It hadn't even been released in NA. Thats when I knew the Dreamcast was dead. You didn't even need to mod your system to play back up games.
I'm in the same boat. I'll wait for the release rather than import. The game could be updated and further enhanced. Beside, the English/Hong Kong version seems to be in high demand. This review put the game on my radar. Looking forward to playing it.
A little stereotypical but true in many instances. What really gets me is when people use the "n" word. I'm not black but it is the most ignorant, and hateful word in any dictionary. I stuck up for some kid a few months ago and became a target myself. Report people who use derogatory words. Enough complaints and the offenders get banned.
Wolverine says hi. Apparently the movie to game adaptation will be a clone of GOW2 also. Considering that GOW is as good as it is, who cares if any game imitates it.

This game went from interesting to must buy for me. I think its awesome when games opt for a more stylized and original look. June release eh? Maybe in Europe. Gamestop and VGReleases list the US date as September.

The only reason paid DLC isn't widespread in PC gaming is for lack of payment infrastructure. Most PC gamers don't and won't register their games or use a 3rd party payment site like Paypal. Piracy is obviously a big reason as well. All someone needs to do is isolate the code for the DLC and find a means to integrate it. (Also for the record, PC gamers will claim they don't need DLC as they say: "I haz modz" but as soon as DLC is exclusive to consoles (hypothetical future), they wil...
I'm sure it will be on many top games to get high with lists soon enough :-p lol
4-20 is coming up soon you know...
How is UT 3's Titan Pack? I sold the game a while ago and was thinking about coming back to it.
On topic:
I agree, there are too many AAA games to play. Killzone 2 alone keeps me occupied enough.
This is a hard purchase for me. I sporadically play Halo 3 every once in a while and many of my friends don't even have the Legendary map pack.
Halo 3: ODST will have all the Halo 3 maps ever made so perhaps its better to wait.
Edit: Also, I dislike the fact that only a small fraction of players play on the pay map packs. The vast majority of Halo 3 players get the maps for free (I almost never play on a Legendary map). Online ranking isn't enabled either :-(

I don't think anyone should be surprised by the results. I have nothing against Apple, however its hard to recommend a similarly priced Apple over a superior speced PC. Aesthetics and lack of monster computer viruses (like the conflicker) is a bonus. Usability is subjective.
With that said, "Apple tax" is real folks.
Edit: I should give Apple more credit than I did. It's become mainstream in the the four years since I was a freshman in college. As a senior ...
"Performance that is 5-10 times faster than traditional PCs with integrated graphics." quote from article
I bought my AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600 w/ 2 gigs RAM and integrated graphics, 3 and a half years ago. Despite paying $1000 at the time, I couldn't play most current games available. If the Acer AspireRevo delivers on price and performance I could play a healthy selection of games past and present for a decent price.
If the only configuration is the one reve...
I was expecting a dual core chip at the very least myself. Hopefully there are more than one version of the AspireRevo and you can customize/upgrade.
With that said, the machine won't be able to run the latest games, but its significant for other reasons. First, it should be less expensive($300). For me and others that don't care to play the latest and greatest (PC)games, this is an eye opener. I recall consoles being popular for a reason (cough...cheap...cough)...PC gaming could...
The demo is pretty good but there are some balancing issues. The demos two fighters, Chuck Liddell and Shogun Rua aren't equal by a long shot. Try playing as Liddell...and win. Then play as Shogun. Liddell seems to be the noob character of choice as he is too good.
