If you haven't figured it out already there will be a rerelease of NG3/NGS3. Tecmo has been pretty consistent. They released the first one three times. Ninja Gaiden Black for the Xbox came out little more than a year after the original. I have purchased NG, NGB, NGS, NGDS, and NG2. Perhaps its assumed the most hardcore Gaiden' fans will purchase/repurchase every new release.. :-p Inductive reasoning, I know but more credible the more you examine the enthusiasm for each Gaiden release. Busines...
Not sure what either of your comments have to do with the above article. You forgot to mention gamespot, eurogamer, edge mag and kotaku...etc, etc.
Its a little ridiculous that people still think there is a grand conspiracy theory. Opinion is opinion. Its not fact and personal bias account for everything you do in any given day. Do both of you like the color blue? Like cats or dogs? Same thing. Asking someone to be completely objective is not possible. Journalism and reporting ar...
I'm in the same boat. I'm compelled to buy every version of Ninja Gaiden ever made.
Make sure you beat mission mode thoroughly as the downloadable extras(costumes and mission mode)are exclusive. DLC is not guaranteed to come over since NGS2 must differentiate from its non-Sigma brother. It won't be a carbon copy.
Not sure why Vista is branded as a failure. The only reason it should get any hate whatsoever is the fact that Microsoft and major PC makers slipped the OS in machines that weren't fast enough to run it. You could say that the netbook craze was a direct consequence of the high specs to run it. The launch of Vista was very poor as well. No one knew when it was going to come out and then...poof...it came out at the end of January. It was rushed and suffered from software and hardware incompatib...
Its a Nintendo developed and published game so it should sell well. Hardcore games can sell well, but not third party ones aside from popular franchises like Resident Evil.
Nostalgia alone is enough to sell this game.

I agree. NG2 was completely underrated and no amount of bashing is going to make it less of a game. The fact that NGS2 has more content is great, however people shouldn't expect a completely new game. Added content is nice but it doesn't change the core features of the game nor the overall game in general. If you enjoyed NG2 on the 360 you will enjoy NGS2. Be a fan of the series and not a console fanboy.
I am a sucker for re-releases and will purchas...
Surprised? I admit to pirating back in the day... Windows Vista, Adobe Photoshop, MP3's galore, a couple of games, etc. Not anymore. Licensed software is the way to go if you want better software in the future.
I just hope the girl doesn't have massive feet and hands like the dudes in the game. I don't want a stereotypical female but one that doesn't look like a freak, lol. I love GeoW btw...
Just because your not the target target audience doesn't mean you should want it to fail. Why? The game is good, and if you don't like it, choose not to buy it.
Another poor review by ign. I think their journalistic integrity has went down the drain....there was only a brief mention of the 4 player multiplayer and too much was invested in the games faults. What about fun? What games compare to it favorably? I wish these questions were answered rather than talking about the game graphics. Besides, anything is better than Two Worlds, and I think most could agree. Sacred 2 is a worthy "drought days" Summer game.
I still need to play Demon Souls. Its coming to NA/Euro right? Otherwise I'll import. Valkyrie Chronicles should get a sequel. The game is selling pretty well these days. Good for Sega and gamers.
Shenmue is my Game of the Decade.
I would love a sequel to Panzer Dragoon Orta and Jet Set Radio.
Motion Control is still a rumor for either console. Until its confirmed by one, the other or both, no one can say with certainty that it "WILL." Patents are cool and everything...but most are never implemented. Everyone these days has an "official" source they can tap. Lets wait till actual images and more importantly games are presented.
I'll be getting Patapon 2 as soon as PSP Go! comes out. Otherwise the only other title of interest is Klonoa.
X-men Mutant Apocolapse> X-men 2: Clone Wars> Wolverine:Adamantium rage in that order for 16 bit consoles.
X-men Arcade was amazing. Needs to come to XBLA/PSN.
agreed- not sure what people are disagreeing about. Personally, I haven't had problems either.
It seems as though the rumors were true and the development was bumpy. Too bad as it seemed like it had potential.
Hence why the PC shouldn't get Map Pack 2. If they get it for free, why make it for them? Also, perhaps the maps would be cheaper if in fact a PC version wasn't made. Charge $2-$5 per map pack and millions more people would be willing to pay, including the PC fanboy (maybe).
Good points.
However, how do you return an opened retail game and get your money back? "Too Human was returned in droves." I interpret this to mean the game was traded in used. Anywhere have more lax return policies for media? Too Human was enough of a flop to earn a sequel...hmmmmm.
I'm very happy to see such great improvements in the visuals and otherwise. Uncharted 2 will be a true sequel. I was particularly amazed by the animation and new arsenal of moves. I think people tend to overlook these things in particular. The first game set a precedent in graphics but also animation and attention to detail. These things are what make the game so much more immersive to me. Uncharted 1 (and 2 presumably) play out like the best action movie made interactive and 3-4 times longer...
