I suppose every game has an audience. I'm one of those people. Its one of those games that was truly magical when it came out. Joystiq has a nice write up about it, and its based off the superior Dreamcast version of the game. Nostalgia alone will make me buy this game, the gameplay, and updated 3D effects make it a must buy.
And no, I didn't play Rayman 2 on the DS. If I play any re-release it better be the same or better, otherwise, whats the point?
Although I've only tried the demo, MAG is not bad by any stretch. Move support is a big plus for me. If KZ3 wasn't coming out in a month I would buy it.

Any chance Microsoft will bring a store to the Midwest? If so I wouldn't mind if they set up shop in the "Great Lakes State." :-)
Better yet, they could take over the Radio"shack" in my local mall. Never go there and still wonder why the chain is still in business.
I see nothing wrong with specialized stores. If the customer service and deals are better than that offered by more diversified stores, why not?

Its common knowledge that Microsoft lost 4 billion on the original xbox. No one will dispute that. However, assuming Microsoft hasn't made back that amount is nonsensical. The fact of the matter is, unless you have Microsoft's earnings report year after year, you cannot prove or disprove there is still a deficit.

Anyone that owns both consoles knows there's a disparity between 360 and the PS3 when it comes to speed of downloading and installing firmware updates and patches.
Now that I'm a PSN Plus member its not as bad but its still pretty bad, especially for games you just bought.
Its kind of sad that there are so many people in denial. The PS3 is a great system but its not without its flaws.

Thanks. I find myself wanting every traditional controller experience to incorporate Move if it makes sense. I wish the 360 also had a physical controller for Kinect, similar to Move. I would buy that too! The Wii was very much a let down for me. I enjoyed Metroid Prime Trilogy, and Resident Evil 4 but gave up on the hope of competitive multiplayer. Nice! lol. Colcovision is definitely before my time but all and all pretty awesome. It seems it was ahead of its time. I find it amusing that so many of the game play mechanics and hardware that we take for granted today were iterated (albeit less successfully) yesteryear. Thanks for the link :-)

I just picked up the Move bundle and have to say I'm impressed. As a Playstation Plus member I was able to try MAG w/ Move and believe its become my preferred way of playing FPS's. Before Killzone 3 comes out I'll most likely pick up Modern Combat Domination if its good to tied me over till Feb. Also, looking forward to SOCOM 4 in April also :-)
Does anyone know if Resistance 3 will have Move support?

I bought the last Move Bundle at my local Best Buy yesterday. Their website said they were out for that particular location as I was going to buy online and pick up in store. Glad they had one hidden away.

I'm excited for Killzone 3 and SOCOM. I might buy MAG or Modern Combat to tide me over till then. I wish I could play Dead Space 2 with Move (not just Extraction).
I had a NES for 10+ years without the thing breaking. With that said, I think over the last few hardware generations there has been quality control issues. Arguably, hardware has became more problem prone once DVDs/CDs started to be used for games. The number one problem of any console is usually the optical drive. My Wii suffered this fate. The PS3 seems to be much more reliable than its predecessors, so perhaps it bucks the trend of hardware becoming less reliable. The 360 on the other hand...
The collection could be a little better. No loss. It blows my mind that Sega hasn't taken advantage of some of its better Dreamcast games. As mentioned, Power Stone 1 and 2 re released or sequel on xbla and psn is an obvious choice. Millions would buy it on nostalgia alone. Jet Grind Radio is another great game. Shenmue 1 and 2, and Skies of Arcadia are also great. I would include Grandia 2 if only because I loved it.

Dreamcast 1 was revolutionary, however todays consoles (even the Wii w/ its horrible friend codes system) are far beyond it in scope.

I love remakes if done right. Beyond Good and Evil HD comes to mind as well as the Shadow of Colossus/Ico re-release.
