As someone who is hesitant to play any MMO, and primarily a console gamer, what is the main draw for DC Universe? I prefer questing and exploration over player vs player. I've read a lot of good things about it, and its finally peaked my interest.
For how cheap? Do I have to pay property tax over there? I joke. Please don't SPAM N4G!!!
I was going to report the story but N4G doesn't let "trainees" report anything any longer lol.
I looked at the score and was like.."great, another subpar Two Worlds 2 score." Glad I looked at the comments as I've been on the fence about this game. I need something to tide me over till Syrim :-p
I hope there is a demo in the near future for this game. After I played the demo for the prequel I knew I didn't have the patience for ...
I'm not sure if I sense sarcasm or your serious, but lets assume your serious. Why in the world would Microsoft charge for a browser? Bing on Xbox would essentially generate ad revenue for them. I'm not here to say, "I love paying for Xbox Live" however its kind of silly to think they would be so dumb to lump bing search as a "feature" of Xbox Live Gold membership.
Haha, the article made me want to start up Majora's Mask. Haven't played that one in a while.
I was going to replay Ocarina of Time last year however, there was all the speculation concerning the 3DS and whether the game that was shown was a tech demo or re-release. Glad a waited. Ocarina of Time 3DS looks nice.
I also got my copy at kmart :-) The $20 psn or xbl card made their deal the best. Additionally, Kmart also had any full priced game for $30 with the purchase of Little Big Planet 2. For anyone that doesn't know about this deal, take advantage. You may have to show the clerk kmartgamer.com from your phone, as the one that rang me up had no clue DS2 came with a PSN/xbl card or of the LBP2 promotional.
I don't think we can be friends...ever.
Definitely buying both. I will buy the 3DS for the missus and borrow it. If it proves to be too much fun I'll buy another. PSP 2 is a sure winner. I have so many PSN minis and Playstation 1 games, both purchased and from PSN plus, I will have to get one.
I've been playing games on my Droid a lot more lately as free time is lacking at the moment to play fully featured console games. Dedicated handhelds should help in this regard as gaming on cell phones is only fun for...
Solid industrial design. If half of the things are true about PSP2 it will make for a compelling handheld. I'm intrigued by the stylus...
My game of the year. I invested almost 200 hours in Oblivion. Everything that I read about it in Game Informer is pure gold and seems to fix all the nagging issues its predecessor had. If there was ever an issue to buy, this is the one, if only for its huge preview of the game.
Value is subjective. Not everyone is willing to spend $250 for a handheld...or $500 in your case. Nintendo has always sold hardware for a profit AND at a decent price. That my friend is why people are disappointed. I think the 3D effect will be neat, but worth $50 to $75 more than mass market price? Many will not see it that way. Core gamers will ultimately buy the 3DS, but for those of us whom can't afford it or don't see the value in it, will pass it by. Keep in mind most of the DS&...
DS anything prints money. I hope the games, for the $40-$50 price tag they'll command will be worth that much.
I'm usually an early adopter but even I'm turned off by the price tag. Nintendo usually means affordable. The Wii for example was $250 starting out, but multiple people could play. The perceived value of consoles is higher. I have no doubt it will sell, but its price is a little outside of its typical mass market audience.
Perhaps I'm biased, but from personal experience, Move is quite fun when played with fps' and on-rail type games. You will miss out.
Now if only Dead Space 2 could be played with Move....
Everything is mapped to the Move controller. I've watched a few videos on Extraction and there hasn't been any reference to the Navigation controller being used. Just a couple of Move specific controls: Move button is used for telekinesis and "O" plus a slash of move activates melee.
If for some reason I'm wrong, you could still probably use Dual Shock as a substitute for the Navigation controller.
Rayman 3DS is supposed to be a port of the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2. It ran at 60 fps and still holds up. Unfortunately everyone remembers the N64 version or its DS port. If they use the analog stick and keep the fps at 60, you shouldn't have anything to worry about :-)
What about Just Dance 1, and 2? Oh wait...dancing with 3DS in hand is probably not a good idea. You can bet that Ubisoft has thought about it though.
Ubisoft's mobile/handheld games are junk. I hope this changes in the near future.
I was interested in the 3DS until I saw the price and launch list of games. I can't say I'm shocked either. Nintendo is the current market leader and perhaps a little emboldened by its success with DS. I would never bet against Nintendo, however, its clear they are catering to the early adopter crowd. Until there is a price drop or two, I don't expect the 3DS will find its way into its usual, mass market audience. Its Nintendo's game to lose.
I hope that the ...
Agreed. I like hearing about cool PSN games as much as the next person, but its a tad bit annoying. For what its worth the website is alright imo.
I will never understand some of the logic "some" people use on this site.
It is absolutely nonsensical to say the Xbox 360 is dying. A console is on decline when the sales decline and games stop being released. Xbox 360 sells a lot of hardware and software and had a record year (especially in profits). That should say something. When the price drops to $200 for the hard drive equipped 360, expect sales to increase even further. Most of the PS2's sales were when ...
@vickers500
Yes, the 20 dollar PSN deal is good for the rest of the week :-)
