Oh i know, i never believe the figures, but they are more or less accurate with which is selling better.
Add that to the fact Microsoft have also announced the Series is selling better than the one, and i came up with the Series is seller better than xbox one lol.
@green
Lol, exactly, i think it must have been during the night, then they woke up, and the devastation set in, that it is still mainly out of stock worldwide.
The problems with the xbox one launch, were not due to not having exclusive games, it was the whole kinect, drm, always online that tarnished the xbox one launch.
As for Series exclusives, i'm not sure how many times people say that, when everyone knows, the xbox has not had any exclusives since the xbox one, they are all cross platform with PC.
As for system sellers, Halo is the xbox system seller, so the figures should be interesting to look at come...
Just proves that gamepass in no way diminishes sales on a platform, so far PCF and Square have got :-
17% of physical sales (that is 170,000 copies per 1 million, however many total were sold physical - £8,000,000-£10,200,0 00 for each 170,000 RRP £49.99-£59.99).
Day 1 Gamepass cheque
Potential DLC purchases of however many gamepass subs want to buy the DLC pack.
I'm quite sure the Outriders team and Square are qu...
You missed the end off, probably on purpose to fit an agenda, so here is the quote in full :-
"The co-op RPG shooter sold best on PlayStation platforms, with the PS5 version accounting for 52% of sales and the PS4 edition making up 31%. 17% came on Xbox, although it's important to note that the game is available as part of Xbox's Game Pass subscription service, and that data is not counted here. Indeed, this is purely physical retail sales."
Yes that is correct, as is the PS5 numbers, just estimates non official information on vgchartz.
"sigh" there is always 1 downplayer, even according to MS, Series is performing better than xbox one.
Don't be mad at facts.
Your numbers do not take gamepass into consideration, as they can not measure "sales".
Your numbers just show, that 17% of the sales on xbox, were outside of gamepass.
What you should do, to solidify your argument, is show player counts Playstation vs Xbox, then we will get a figure on how many are playing through gamepass, combined with the physical/digital sales.
Maybe the Sony fans should contact Sony and ask whether gamepass is profitable for them.
According to a lot on N4G, a game being on gamepass, devalues the game itself, it would be interesting to know Sony's take on the matter.
I would agree, the only issue i have had with the game, is kicking to dashboard when returning to lobby (fixed by just loading the game again), or random disconnects/crashes/rubber banding during co-op play.
Albeit nothing game breaking, and the game is really enjoyable.
Edit : playing on Series X, with one partner on Xbox One X, and the other also on Series X.
That was before 18+ million people potentially tried it for free.
The server issues will rectify once they settle on a stable traffic load.
I have caught the AI quickly popping their head out of cover to force me to take a shot, and also flanking.
I have to admit, the AI is quite good.
Your deluded if you think Microsoft are not making money off gamepass.
especially from a certain camp....
Father_Merrin is the godfather of gamepass bashing, even in an article about the best washing powder to use, he will somehow drag poor little gamepass into the conversation.
It is definitely fun to play, online co-op is a bit hit and miss at the minute due to server stability issues (game should have been on dedi's) but other than that it is great fun with friends (albeit a bit challenging at times).
I have mainly played co-op, and i originally pre-ordered the game at full price (although i cancelled due to gamepass), but even if the game was not on gamepass, i would have just paid for it.
Link please, i want to preorder a Series X for my bro.
"its sitting on shelves here in the part of the uk i am.
when i ask if they sell at all the clerk just shakes his head."
Surely the most obvious reason for a console to be on a shelf, would be because it has not sold? I could have told you that, and frankly, i'm quite shocked you had to ask for assistance on the matter.
What does PS4 sales have to do with a comparison between Xbox one vs Series S/X sales?
You need to try harder.
To summarise :-
Xbox Series S and X are performing better than Xbox One.
I was quite surprised MLB 21 was coming to gamepass at all to be honest lol.
Although not a baseball fan myself, i have only heard praise for the game, so i might download it to check it out at launch.
And xbox is probably combining all the different subs in one figure, to make the service as a whole profitable, which i think it is, or will be if not already.
