You would be pleasantly surprised, i have downloaded and played over 100 games that i had no interest, or even knew about without the exposure of gamepass. There are some great little games that get massive exposure to a potential 18 million plus gamers.

They stopped because most of the games these days are not finished until after the day 1 patch, releasing a demo of an unfinished game would tarnish the sales of the product.
When demo's were more prominent, the games were actually a finished product.
You can still get demo's for certain games through the xbox store, it will have an option to try the game. (not sure if the same is possible on PSN).

No, people want a PS4, because they want a PS4, as people want a Series S because they want a Series S.
I would not go into a store, and want to buy a PS4, but walk out with an xbox.
P.S. surely if the shoppers are just buying a console for games and not exclusives, then the Series S would be the best option, whereas if they want exclusives, PS4 would be the best option.

Because to get the full 4K @ 120fps experience, you need to shell out close to £900 for a TV with a HDMI 2.1 port with a 120hz panel, they are not cheap, sure you can get a cheap panel, but you will be limited to 50 or 60fps.

PSNOW games, are seperate to PS5 upgrades. PSNOW only has PS4 versions of said games, therefore common sense dictates you can not play the PS5 version.
Furthermore, these games are included in the sub, so if you wish to get the PS5 version, then you will have to buy the game, but i can not see why anyone would pay just to get the upgrade.
