You claimed "no studio" has said they were having problems.
It is indeed a false statement.
Even if at least 1 studio has had issues, your statement is false.
Japanese audiences have always been more mobile centric than console.
The Nintendo DS outsold the PS1,PS2, PS3 and PS4 in Japan
The gameboy outsold all 4 PS in Japan
The 3DS outsold all 4 PS in Japan
All of the above 3 outsold the PSP and the Vita in Japan.
To claim Japan have only just largely gone mobile is absolute nonsense, they have always been a mobile audience since the gameboy.
@RosweeSon
"Looking pretty good to me as a Ps5 owner"
Glad to hear, say what PS5 games are you currently playing? /s
"No studio will say that is having problems before launching the game...Its business."
False, some studios have said that development on the Series S is difficult.
quote :
"Some developers are having difficulty optimizing their games for the Xbox Series S’s smaller memory capacity in comparison to the Xbox Series X's much more forgiving RAM (random access memory) and generally superior hardware."
"Not that hard when you have to make the higher spec console parity with the lower spec one."
Please provide proof of such "parity" in any game currently in development?
MotoGP 21 :-
Series S : Target resolution 1440p - 60fps
Series X : Dynamic 4K - 60fps
No parity there my friend?
The Series X version is on par with the PS5 version, so what your saying is the Series S is holding ...
Some great details about the console version :-
Keyboard support
Upcoming Beta
Cross play with PC
In the polishing phase
Looking good for a June/July 2021 console launch!!!
Props to the Dualsense, there is no other controller like it currently on the market (at least for consoles).
The statement i was quite impressed with is "He also said Xbox Series S was no trouble at all during the development of the game."
Thought it was an obstacle?
Exactly,
Gamers complain about MT's and loot boxes, but a game with prettier graphics and faster load times gets a pass at £60? hell no.
Will not be getting my cash, i will just play through the trilogy i already own, free of charge, and get the same experience as all the fools that buy the same game twice.
I agree fully :-
Remakes - £40 or less.
Remasters - £25 or less.
None of what you mentioned you get if you own the xbox one.
You are referring to current gen, how does the xbox one benefit from way faster load times?
This is only beneficial to newcomers to the series, i have all 3, and all dlc's, and in no way am i paying another £60, to play the same games that look better, when i can pop the originals in the tray.
Not to mention the entire series is already on gamepass including Andromeda....
So if you own a vanilla xbox one, what would be the reason for buying this legendary edition, if you own all 3 base games?
PS4 Pro/Xbox One X enhanced games are clear when they advertise you need a One X/PS4 Pro to get the enhancements.
The Xbox One version is listed as advertising 4K, this is the issue, they need to state in order to get the enhancements, Xbox One X/Series S/Series X is required.
£55 for better textures and other whistles?
No thanks, i will just play the originals through BC.
"EA Fleece - it's in the game"
"all remastered and optimized for 4k Ultra HD." Pretty sure the xbox one is not capable of 4K, so how can they even advertise this game for xbox one?
To add to this (to clear a few points up and for clarity)
PS4/Xbox One retail UK - £49.99
PS5/Series S|X retail UK - £59.99
Playstation gamers will buy the game for £49 and upwards.
Xbox gamers will buy the game for £49 and upwards.
Gamepass subscribers, will pay £0 to play the game, if they decide they like the game, or the game is scheduled to leave gamepass, the game is offered at a discount...
Could have just said you did not like it, it would have been an easier read.
Just checked, same price between Series X/PS5 versions.
@RazzerRedux
Think you need to read my comment again/i'll clarify what i mean :-
Series X/xbox one - discounted in gamepass (less than £70 - if you purchase with the sub)
Physical/digital outside of gamepass - Xbox One - £49.99 (less than £70) - Series X - £59.99
To note : Gamepass subs on Series X, will receive the Series X version, not the xbox one version.
Not sure why you...
Hence why i noted "you" would not need to pre-load (but you could save yourself 5 minutes by doing so)
Comprehension is key.
"Actually pr-load mattered on the PS4 because games even with good internet speeds took a good while. On the PS5 not so much."
Erm, yes pre-load would still matter the same on PS5, for people with slower internet connections. When good internet speeds are downloading slow, it is normally due to...
Do you know what pre-load means?
It is so people with slower internet connections can download the game days before, so they do not wait 9 hours + for it to download.
Having a fast internet speed you would not need to pre-load (although you still can to save yourself 5 minutes)
But for those that are subbed to gamepass, it is "free" (included with a sub) up until the game leaves the service, in which instance the game is sold at a reduced price.
Not to mention the xbox one version is $59.99.
Waverider clearly does not know how API's work, and how they can scale depending on the hardware.
They do not work on more than one version, they work on the highest assets available (Series X for example) and then they can use the API tools to scale down to the Series S.
Waverider, how do you explain how Playstation get games looking really good with high assets on the PS5, yet that game is also lower quality on the PS4?
Would you ...
