Thats why games getting developed are forward/backward compatible. Scale up/down depending on your console of choice. Just like how a pc changes settings depending on the hardware your using.
think your mistaken, developers can make exclusive software specifically designed for the scorpio if they wish.

The xbox one S is the replacement for the xbox one. Same console with a few tweaks. Thats why the original xbox one is being phased out.
Same will happen with PS4. When they announce a slim the original PS4 will be phased out.
Every manufacturer will 9 times out of 10 support 2 current platforms.

free games are always good. Might not be to certain peoples tastes, i have downloaded a few didnt like them and deleted them. But everyone has their own likes/dislikes so i will download and give them a whirl.
@stevonidas If you dont like the look of the S console, then dont buy it, i personally like the white S. The only reason i am saving/waiting for the scorpio is i dont need a third xbox one. Other than that i think the look of it is fine.
incorrect. He should buy whatever he wants to buy. Size difference is irrelevant compared to the PS4. If they release a slim down PS4 that he likes he may purchase that as well. But im guessing from your comment the slim PS4 purchase would be justifiable in your view

An exclusive doesnt affect my decision in buying a game. So what, games like gears, halo, forza, scalebound, etc etc will also be on pc. Will that stop me buying the xbox one version?? not at all, does it annoy me they are on PC??? nope, would it annoy me if any of these franchise went to all platforms?? not in the slightest.. A good game is a good game, regardless of what platform its released on.

i'm all for a merge. If anything value is added. This may mean that we get some "PC exclusives" coming to the xbox one, therefore more games without the need for PC purchase or upgrading. Microsoft will still have exclusives but they will be cross platform play/buy.
