Just because they talk it up as they did with the PS4 Pro when that was showcased, does not state their games will be native 4K.
All developers are doing is praising a nicely constructed console.
Why does a console need to sell more than another? Fanboy braggin rights? As long as each console is successful in its own right and the creators make profit we will continue to get them.
All console need to succeed to have an industry. Otherwise you would get monopolisation and then creators would have no need to create anything new.

3rd party developers will most probably use checkerboard rendering on both consoles. Its not a case of whether either can actually run at native 4K, its a case of developer choice and compromise.

Before online gaming was introduced in the console space most games had some sort of local co-op/system link mode. Goldeneye anyone?? lol
That is true, some games are going downhill with microtransactions i.e. cod, halo where they implement special packs to purchase for new weapons, skins etc.
For me microtransactions only belong in mmorpgs like the likes of neverwinter, world of warcraft etc.
I do like a good single player game to get into but they tend to be more horror based games lol

Co-op isnt dying, if you ask me its one of the better experiences in games. Destiny, Online multiplayer (kind of co-op),Neverwinter, i generally look at a game to see if it can be played co-op and so do my friends. One of the reasons why destiny 2, anthem etc will be purchased

Streaming full games wont be happening anytime soon until mainstream broadband speeds are increased across the globe. It is a possible option in some countries today, but most people dont have the bandwidth.
Dont be expecting disc-less systems for at least another 5-10 years

Someone on N4G that actually knows what they are talking about. Also the $499 price tag needs to take into consideration the cost of the UHD drive and the cooling system. If it was standard heatsink/fan techniques and Blu-ray drive we would be looking at $300-350 console.

I dont see why a downgrade will happen, remember the game was revealed running on an xbox one x, (this may have included 4k assets etc)
Obviously the game will be downgraded for xbox one/PS4, but i fully expect these kind of visuals when the game is running on xbox one x/PS4 Pro

i agree especially the farcicle that was the xbox one launch scenario, whereas the switch has not had that issue
