Yes you can as long as the gamertags are different. I have 2 friends that live in different parts of the UK that game share. Both have access to each others libraries and both take turns in buying games

but most back compat games benefit from more stable frame rate on xbox one. Wouldnt that be the "true" way to play the game?

You can with some games on xbox one. When you go to the store it says play trial on some, unsure about other platforms

The trouble is halo wars 2 is not a "launch week buy" for most. I enjoyed the 1st halo wars as i like strategy games and will pick up halo wars 2 at some point.
Judging any game off "launch week" as a failure is grasping at the shortest straw possible. A game may sell 2 x, 3 x that the week after

I paid for the season pass on destiny 1 only to have to buy the game again for the taken king.
a season pass should be all dlc for the duration of the game like all other games

The scorpio wont be held back in any way. Games are developed the same as normal targeting the xbox one sku and then additional assets etc patched for the scorpio version. as with PS4 pro. Neither system will be held back
I think its slap in the face of those that paid £70 just to get the remaster. Only reason they did that was to inflate sales for infinite warfare.
