I can't comment on the PSN but I'm sure both services deliver on what they are asked. I'm on Xbox live more or less every night and the only thing that sometimes has a blip is the friends list which is normally a quick fix. This only happens every other month. I think I have only had one time since I bought the Xbox one where Xbox live was fully down.

its very easy. I bought a seagate 2TB for my xbox one (£79.99). plugged into usb port. formatted. done. Takes around 1 minute to format, name, set as primary drive etc.
And it merges both hard drives so its still looks like your looking at one drive (when looking at games etc)
why would either manufacturer praise minimal HDD space?

I was made fully aware of the upgrade options for the xbox one external hard drives by watching their E3 briefings where they discussed said topic.
I am even aware of the PS4 upgrade options regarding hard drives even though i dont own one.
Writer says it's not a comparison but mentions the ps4 looks/will be better no less than 3 times even though he stated himself he has not seen/played the ps4/pc version.

A 900p 30fps game can look and perform better than a 1080p 60fps game.
Me personally I prefer a compelling story and great gameplay, replayability over which version looks better.

What a nonsense article. Self explanatory that DirectX 12 upgrade post launch won't change the resolution as the game is not built for dx12. Microsoft Phil Spencer and whoever else have already stated that changes will not be seen until games are built from the ground up using the new api.
