An outdated controller??? Buy the elite one then?? Or would you need an Xbox one first?
AR is aimed more towards business and design development/3d printing etc it is not mainly aimed towards gaming.
I think all will sell well psvr/VIVE/oculus.
May be classed as gimmicks but sometimes gimmicks can be fun and generate lots of money.
Look at the Wii for an example.
Lots of people would have considered it a gimmick while the majority considered it a great family console.
Same with VR the majority will see it as awesome tech. Some will consider it another gimmick.
Why is number 2 deemed to be a bad thing these days? It was number 3 last gen and was still a great console.
They do look really intriguing and yeah PC's are an expensive hobby lol. I will have to give one of them a whirl and see which I like best before making a decision.
Just downloaded the test and it is rift ready 😊 might still wait a while. Not really a necessity for me but is interesting tech.
For me oculus or VIVE would be the cheapest option.
As a none PS4 owner I would need
1 PS4 - £250-300
1 psvr - £350
So about 650 - 700 pound
Oculus 400 - 500 pound

Unless the games that are released multi platform use the azure dedicated servers and Sony etc just use azure platform for online play. The only way this would have stability is with dedicated's

We know that full mouse/keyboard support is coming for Xbox one.
This opens up the possibility for it to go the other way, I.e. PC only games being playable on the Xbox one. Would this not result in a cheaper way to play PC games if MS make this happen?

If in this day and age you don't happen to have an internet connection then you can enjoy the single player mode.

I didn't lose connection last night I spat my dodie out and turned it off lol. I was enjoying tomb raider when an achievementd didn't unlock. I snapped achievements and got an error. Home screen was saying I wasn'tc connected to Xbox live even though network troubleshooter said I was. I hard reset the console everything worked fine went back on tomb raider and achievements popped. Was fine for about half hour then it happened again and party was randomly kicking people off. I think they are probably mistaken with the DirectX 12 bit. I think they meant the updated sdk that was released to developers not so long back.
But it has made an impact? Pes is now 1080p confirmed by the developers. That is thanks to updated sdk. No bull here just salty fans in one camp yet again

I can see a partnership with oculus on the horizon no reason why it wouldn't work with Xbox one
