hitman 3 is also on xbox
Spiderman is also on ps4
Re8 is also on xbox
But yeah, you got a remake for PS5, give yourself a pat sunshine
I think they were meant to have one in September, this may have been cancelled due to the leaks about the console and pricing
Lol how can pre-orders "sell out"
A pre order is unlimited, the only time they get limited is struggle to meet demand, or to create a hype narrative of a console "selling out"
Have they announced how many pre order slots were available? Or did each store just get allocated 10 consoles?
Better bang for buck if you already own a 4k TV.
If you own a 1080p TV then series s is the cheapest option on the market.
Not to mention the cheapest console on the market this holiday
Exactly
Gamepass, or £70 games from the PSN store?
I know where I am going, gamepass is the equivalent of 2 games a year, but you also get online play, pc games, ea play, xcloud gaming on mobile, xbox games, and all Microsoft exclusives on day 1.
Maybe people like Msoft exclusives.
The Series S is cheaper than the switch and will play all the next gen games at a 1440p target.
The majority of gamers still have 1080p TV's, especially children. Why buy a 4K machine to play in 1080p?
It is like buying a gaming PC to play solitaire.
both
One is just quicker than the other
Couldn't agree more, and gamepass ultimate is an absolute steal, console games, pc games like age of empires and flight simulator, ea play also included, as well as xbox live gold, well worth the money imo.
The disc based console will sell more than the digital, and both are priced equally.
Series S may outsell ps5 digital as it is £110 cheaper, and will play all the games the Series X will.
But I still don't think the majority will go digital, not this gen.
"I dont know How Sony did this."
Took a big loss on the console, it is that simple
@baza
"Come on. No one is buying Take-Two or Ubisoft. These companies are worth billions. Sony spent $220million to acquire Insomniac"
Microsoft paid 2.5 billion dollars, yes billion for mojang, what is your point?
220 million for microsoft is what bill wipes his backside with.
@redgum
But the gaming audience is growing, and publishers are selling more and more base games.
Add in to that they are all adding microtransactions and loot boxes then there is absolutely no justification for charging more for a base game.
because they are trying to squeeze money out the consumer.
Other publishers are keeping the same price point, so you can take your justification and ill pick it up from the bargain bin
Don't know how people can disagree with your opinion lol. For me I am wanting to invest in a 4K tv at some point anyway so will be going with the Series X.
Lol, game in the UK you can not preorder online, you have to go in store.
Amazon is unavailable, and argos preorders open on Friday.
That still doesn't explain
"the key difference be that Sony rakes in cash from game sales"
The Series S is not even a threat to the PS5 DE, this is just a move to push people towards digital.
The Series S is for gamers with no 4K TV capabilities.
@nacho
How is Sony going to rake in the cash from game sales when they are providing the games for free albeit through a subscription service?
Gamepass works by the devs getting paid per game download on the service. Microsoft takes a percentage of that sale for basically doing nothing.
This myth that Microsoft make no money on gampass needs to end.
Just PS+ subscribers, disks will not get the enhanced version unless green lit by the 3rd party devs like cyberpunk
Just ps5
No they did not confirm VR RE8, although it is almost a given for ps5 and pc to have VR, just like RE7
