@sullys
You do realise that the Series X (4k console) is the console that is now replacing the discontinued xbox one X?
So you need to stop comparing the one X and series S, the Series S will be replacing the one S once that is discontinued come launch.
So to make it clear for the fanboys :-
Xbox One S -----> Xbox Series S
Xbox One X -----> Xbox Series X
Really, really is not that har...
lol no chance
Its not pachter is it?
what are the ps5 preorder numbers so far? Have they been announced?
3 days
Its not me that is believing the nonsense, everyone took matt bootys comment from March and twisted it into something it isn't.
"As our content comes out over the next year, two years, all of our games, sort of like PC, will play up and down that family of devices,” Booty explains. “We want to make sure that if someone invests in Xbox between now and [Series X] that they feel that they made a good investment and that we’re committed to them with content.”

@razzer
You know that 1 to 2 years ends next march (2021) right??
supporting ps4 will not hold back games on the ps5, just as games available on xbox one will not hold back games on the series x
No they did not prove MS correct.
Just the made the Sony fan boys look silly for bashin Microsoft for still supporting the gamers yet to upgrade.
Sony have realised that it is a mistake to divide your fanbase and force gamers to upgrade
No salt here.
@captain
That is why I will be getting the world's most powerful console, to experience the games in the best quality.
you clearly did not read my comment about the 2 scenarios where a company would "sell out" of preorders.
Companies can take millions of preorders and keep taking, you do not "sell" a pre order, you sell a console.
@tomb
Quite simple really,
If you have a 1080p tv, the series S
If you have a 4K TV, the series X
How does he know they have not had great results? This is the 1st time in history there have been 2 different spec machines on launch day catered to 2 audiences.
not likely, but I commend your faith and enthusiasm
my apologies, I was reading through comments and thus still had your unedited post which I replied to.
My bad, I recall it was meant to be coming to pc a year later, but I was unaware it had been shelved (you learn something everyday)
"Resident Evil (Biohazard) 7 was released January 24th, 2017 on Windows, Xbox One, and PS4, with the latter receiving VR support upon launch via the PS VR. One year later, Resident Evil 7 VR was released on PC VR h...
My point is they never announced a games showcase in September, just they will have an event and will share more
This was before the price and release date leak

The one x is longer available, so what is the Series S in competition with?
What? They have announced sales on PS5 launch games? I must have missed that.
You do realise the discussion is about Series S and PS5 DE? Games are currently between £60-70 (disk version) and digital is always marked higher than brick and mortar.
Sometimes people need to think and read before they write.
@rgr
"And lastly...did you just compare the S to solitaire? lol good one"
Erm no, my quote was
"It is like buying a gaming PC to play solitaire"
It was an analogy of buying something that you do not need, as far as I am aware I did not mention series s in the quote.
@abizzel
And yes, it is true some of the games will be available on the one s/x (you may have mi...
So just because they have used the allocation, does not equate to massive sales?
Like I said, the narrative creates hype, either intentionally or they constrained supplies due to supply shortages.
What sounds better, having a console unable to be preordered, creating a sense of massive worldwide sellouts, or allowing as many people as possible to preorder, creating the narrative of low sales as people can still preorder?
It is either on...
let's see the Sony camp try and downplay this
"Grabs popcorn"
This should be good
