@Hakuoro
Be my guest, and please repost the comments here if you find any of me bad mouthing Bethesda games.
I double dare you.
I personally like all Bethesda games, and have owned every elder scrolls and fallout, even fallout shelter.
I am just excited about the games coming to gamepass, not fussed about who owns them.
I also touched on how buggy Bethesda games are, which is a fact, ES and Fallout...
@VersusDMC
"So I guess you're not buying Cyberpunk at launch? Or any big 3third party games at launch?"
What?
Quite sure we are talking about MS 1st party here?
RGB was talking about them wanting to pay for GP ultimate, and i simply said i would rather pay for Ultimate, than pay £60-70 per game on a rival platform. Ala ES6, and future Bethesda, Zenimax games.
3rd party that are n...
For Msoft, yes it is, more and more people are subscribing to gamepass, so how is it not good business strategy lol.
If it is not, why are Sony trying to mimick the strategy?
That is correct, an excellent business strategy on MSofts part.
Once my gold sub is up i'm upgrading to Ultimate (works out cheaper by £15 per year as opposed to gamepass and gold seperate)
Gamepass Ultimate is cheaper than buying gold and gamepass seperate.
I think they are aiming to include gold with gamepass (vanilla) eventually. You can still buy 12 month subs (while stocks last) at retailers, after that it will be 3 months.
I'd rather pay for ultimate than pay £60-70 per game.
@Hakuoro
"I mean it's your guy's fault we all have to pay for online..."
For Xbox yes, not for PS4/5, that is Sony's fault.
I will not defend anything i don't feel requires defending, i am just happy i get something i pay for, and to be fair £50 a year is like £0.96 per week. I spend £3+ on lunch everyday.
I do not buy games according to their Metacritic rating.
If it looks like i'll play it, i'll buy it. Just like i bought "the complex", which after looking is a 68 metacritic game, but i really enjoyed it.
If you buy games according to a website that can be biased ratings, then more power to you.
I'll screenshot the game when i get it and send it PM'd to you if you like?
@Hakuoro
No, ALL xbox one games work Day 1 on the Series S or X.
And all BC games currently in the program work also.
"Microsoft has stated that Xbox Series X and Series S will support all games playable on Xbox One (excluding those that require the Kinect sensor),[68] including those Xbox 360 and original Xbox console games currently supported through backward compatibility on the Xbox One, thus allowing the console to support fou...
Let's be honest they don't even need to give you anything, but they do, bad month or not.
Bad for some, good for others.
Good for me as i was looking to buy Maid of Sker, so ok month in my opinion.
Everyone's entitled to theirs
Gamepass for PC is also great value
Gamepass Ultimate is even better value, as you get the lot!!!
You would carry a different tune if it was Sony that aquired Zenimax
Bioware lmao,
Yeah they are doing well the last few years #savethequarians
Because Morgan, buggy as they are (fallout 76 was a good idea but executed wrong imo)
Bethesda games, tend to be really good. Here's hoping they get the financial backing to update the engine they use for Elder scrolls/fallout and who knows how good they could become.
I agree, what if a gamer buys a PS5, and then sees some great PS4 games?
So they should be forced to buy a PS4 to play 1 old game they may like? Or should they have the option to be able to play them on the PS5?
It is all about options, and xbox is the only one providing them.
@Elwenil
"I have never bought a new console and wanted to play old games on it."
"I've owned many of the major consoles released in my lifetime and still own a lot of them. But even with all of them around and a ton of physical games, I have only bothered to hook one up and play something a handful of times."
So you still play old games "a handful of times"
Say wouldn't it be good...
@Rude-ro
"Tell me exactly what there is to look forward per Xbox?"
All 1st party titles day 1 for free with gamepass, this includes Elder scrolls 6, and any other game Microsoft or Bethesda release, as well as EA's back catalogue of games with EA play, again for free, not $70 (EACH).
"Microsoft literally has a free to play game on gamepass. It is multiplayer. You have to pay to play multiplayer on xbox.. in order to p...
I think the only thing we have seen/know about the PS5 is.
The specs
Ratchet and clank
Demon Souls
Spiderman
and the controller
@xTonyMontana
I would agree there Tony, looking forward to Cyberpunk and still playing red dead 2.
