IMHO GTA4 is the best next generation game that has been made thus far for the consoles, bar none. It is the game I have as the benchmark for comparing quality on every other game I buy. Not only is it deep in the game play and very addicitive, I did not encounter one single bug or glitch while playing it.
But having said all that, DLC is a timely thing. If it comes out too late after I have finsihed a game, I may never buy it because I already have other games I am enjoying &...
I'd like to see them at least fix the audio on the PS3 game before seeing all this DLC. I like the game, but it is very annoying to hear the audio cut out all the time. I don;t think too highly of a game's quality if the most basic elements...audio...doesn;t work without glitching all the time.

If artists listened to investors for advice, there would no longer be art.
This is what happens when coroporate policies & processes take precedence over logic & customer service. Many upper management type people lose sight of the reason they are in business, and make following the process become the most important part of their focus. I work for a large corporation, and see this type of failing from individuals that make these decisions all the time.
If you were a game fan instead of a hardware fan, you would understand that great games not getting enough attention is bad for video gaming in general. We want the people who make quality games to stay in business, and keep innovating & inspiring other game makers...who may make a great game for your console of choice.
The majority of consumers that buy PCs don't buy them for gaming. That may one of the things they do with it, but not the primary reason for a purchase.
Death of PC gaming would be death of $500 video cards, but not Windows.

If we are talking exclusives, InFamous should be on that list. It was one of my favorite games in the PS3 era thus far.
I still like playing a good FPS every now & then, but I have played a ton over the years, and pretty much feel like it is the same game over & over again in most cases. And I agree that the leveling up, and massive choices for purchase by trading experience points in some of the games now seem to take you out of the action experience of the game, and feels like hollow add ons.
But ulitmately if people keep lining up to buy plain old FPS games, game makers will keep chu...
I'm sure they are very concerned about their reputation being dragged down by bad ports. I have been reading the Bethseda forums, and a lot of people are quite outraged over the garbage ports they did on Fallout 3 DLC. I can say from first hand experience they don't really work on my PS3 - unless you consider a game that hard freezes every 10 to 15 minutes requiring a reboot to be "working".

Already heard enough about issues to not have any interest at all in buying this for a PS3. I'll stick with games made by people that know how to program for the PS3, and avoid bad ports of games not made for that platform. I am glad it was well reported so I don't make another mistake like buying Fallout GOTY of PS3.

Inhaling smoke directly into your lungs is not harmless. There is a lot of tar in pot smoke. And "joy" is a fleeting thing when it comes from a chemical. It is only the delusion of joy you are experiencing while being in an impaired state of mind.
He wasn't high? How can you stay up all night smoking weed, and not be high? Weed is the scapegoat? Just like alcohol is a "scapegoat" when a drunk driver kills someone?
I get that many people like pot, and want to defend the plant. But intoxation causes impaired judgement, regardless what drug you are talking about.
