When competitors do silly things to get attention, you don't want to go out & top them. You go out & be more professional, and make them look even sillier.
creepy
Just as a pre-Kinect training for racing games...
1. sit down in front of your TV
2. hold your arms out, forearms parallel to the ground
3. hold imaginary steering wheel
4. keep holding that position
5. keep holding
6. tired yet?
7. keep holding
8. keep holding - don't give up yet
8. Not tired? - Ok you are ready to play Forza with imaginary steering wheel
No, that doesn't happen with Sony. The PS3 owners manual gives instructions on how you can replace HDD yourself with any 2.5" SATA laptop hard drive. The PS3 OS has utilities for doing the data backup/restore when swapping hard drives.
No because I see the 360 as a slightly gimped redundant product to what I already own with the PS3.
Most of the games that I like are multiplatform. If the 360 had more exclusives I really wanted, & no fee for basic online & no extra charge for Wifi interface, I would probably buy one.
So you just stand in one spot flailing your arms around when you play this game?
Boring.
OMG, I am going to miss out on Craptivision DLC? LOL, whatever, I don't buy their games anyhow.
Product demos without pricing is worthless.
Yeah, it is called trying to stay in business.
This is a casual gaming interface. They are going after the Wii market. There is no need to overthink & overanalyze this. Because Wii has been around for a while, we already know what kind of games work good with motion control & what don't.
I've run accross a handful of glitches. The only ones that annoyed me were a few freeze ups. But considering the amount of time I played, overall the glitches were not enough to really matter that much to me.
All the hype in the world is not going to make me want to play a driving game where I use an imaginary steering wheel.
Celebrity endorsements on video games? Wow, they must be great games that the hardcore gamers will love if celebrities like them!
LOL (rolls eyes)
I guess it sounded cool to some people in suits in an executive board room.
I think the new style looks even more generic. Everybody wants to copy Uncharted's Nathan Drake character now.
I can't believe people thought this was a real ad. It looked very amatuer to me.
I just spent big dollars on a plasma HDTV three years ago. It's going to be a long time before I upgrade to 3DTV (unless my current set dies a premature death).
It took me a lot of practice to learn how to play FPS with a controller on a console after many years of playing them on a PC. I would kick arse if I plugged a keyboard & mouse into my PS3 for FPS.
Accuracy? Meh, we just want flashy gadgets.
Just kidding - glad to see they acknowledge controller accuracy is very important when playing video games. If you don't have very precise controls, then a game is just frustrating & annoying.
I am not buying either system. I just bought a new couch, which is being delivered tomorrow. I will be gaming on a new comfy recliner sofa with controller on my lap.
