MS was a hit with journalists that don't have their fingers on the pulse of the gaming community.
I also liked the old Cole character...but still stoked for this game. The 1st one was great.
I'm looking forward to Move Pets. Haha.
On one hand people want inexpensive hardware. On the other hand, they complain if they see any corners cut on the design of that product to keep cost down. But generally you can't have both cheap hardware & also have that be the most robust design available.
Bottom line, don't move your console around when you are playing a disc. I'm not making excuses for 360...I don't even own one. Owners need to have some common sense, regardless what product they use...
If you are in the wristband line, you are going to get a wristband like everyone else. If you think you are above all that, then you aren't hanging out with the right people if you are standing in the wristband line.
Like I said in a previous post...interesting tech, but where are the good games to play using this interface?
The more people talk about hardware, the more a sign they don't have much games they are looking forward to talk about.
All I ever see are people commenting on how the game looks. I don't care if this is the best looking game ever...if it isn't a great game to play, then I am not interested.
I don't think it is lame they are coming out in 3d, since you can still play them in 2d...but I agree it is overhyped right now. I am not replacing my excellent plasma HDTV just so I can get 3d.
I think the Kinect technology is very interesting & cool, just from a tech perspective. But we are talking video games here. It doesn't look like anything revolutionary going on for gaming after seeing the videos from E3.
I'll say the same thing about Move if Sony doesn't bring out some kickass games to demo it with.
Beat It, WTF? I've seen my fill of dancing at E3 now. Enough of that.
You are just inviting harsh criticism when you unleash a wierd spectacle like that upon a captive audience of journalists & industry people. It seems they made that presentation for future marketing instead of for the people actually in attendance. Know your audience is key to giving a good presentation to them. Seems a lot of participants to E3 don't get that concept every year, but it is surprising when a large corporation doesn't get that concept.
The PS3 fanboy reaction will come back as a single word:
Skittles!
I don't know how anyone can top the Skittles & excerise game demos. Oh, I know...just show up.
I think all one has to do is avoid dancing (especially bad dancing), and this conference will instantly be improved.
I am guessing they probably had a lot of work already done that they could expand on for more Italy. And the Ezio story is interesting, so I think this was probabaly a no brainer as an interim game before the real Assasin's Creed 3 game is made.
I'm down for this game.
As an old school gamer, I hate to see this kind of crap...even though I don't own a 360. I could care less about the fanboy wars, and would rather see MS showing so many good games it convinces me to buy a 360...but they aren't convincing me why I should buy their product.
OMG, is that the actual box art for those games? Bwahahahaha
Yes, these motion control systems were created solely to cut into the Wii demographic.
But you guys shouldn't forget there are a lot of developers out there that make the hardcore games because that is their profession. They aren't going away, because that is what they do. Maybe some of the big publishers will fill their catalogs with fluff, but the good developers will still have publishers for the hardcore games...because there will always be a market for that.
And someone with the handle "Halo3 MLG Pro" is supposed to be the voice of reason? Your name speaks of bias, and discounts you from having credibility.
