It seems like they are struggling to take something they say has a lot of potential past the potential stage & into the practical stage. Game business is competetive, and it seems they have felt the need business-wise to get a product out there, but is it really ready with good game support? The lack of hands on, and over the top pretentious advertising is making most people wonder what the heck they are actually going to do with it beyond little kids games instead of getting core gamers ...
Maybe sitting down is one of those amazing things we'll see after Kinect gets past "scratching the surface".
haha, sorry that shot was too easy not to take.
Who cares who copies who as long as there are cool things to buy. Do you guys work for these companies or something?
lol, nice try at attempting to stir up the Romper Room debate.
Microsoft keeps emphasizing they want to change how we play games. But I don't want to change how I play games.
I'll be buying this for PS3...but that demo on G4TV using a 360 looked really good.
Haha, funny analogy.
LOL, well, at least one way to solve the RROD is to remove the red ring.
Is this like one of those bad movies that the studio doesn't give copies out to be reviewed by film critics?
I agree...it's a kids thing. The little ones have that hyper energy, and need to work it off. Older people that have jobs have used up their energy by the time they sit down to relax & play a game in the evening.
Microsoft Kinect vs PlayStation Move vs Nintendo Wii vs My Couch
In a landslide victory, My Couch wins!
Should people buy a product that is just scratching the surface, and can't yet do all the things they imagine it may be in the future? There is a certain segment of people that want to be first to own new things, so some will buy new things that have limited function. But that is a limited market group.
It is going to be interesting to see if kinect bucks that trend & a lot of people buy it anyway. But I have to say, I am not one to go out and buy something when a ...
Kevin Butler's persona is an extension of the Fanboy wars. They are having some fun with this fanboy rivalry thing, as it feeds right into the hands of what people constantly blog about in the gaming scene these days. This creation comes from all of you and your reactions to every little gossip, argument, & tweet posted on the Net.
Microsoft do their fair share of smack talk, so I think Sony is pretty smart to pay a guy to dish it right back out, and get people lau...
heck no...I just bought a new sofa this week. LOL.
Maybe an HD version of the Wii is a good product to have on the market (although I admit motion control isn't in my interest). There seems to be some unreasonable expectations these new motion controllers have to be the most revolutionary thing ever created before anyone will buy them. Let's face it...these new products are very specific to target the audience that can currently only get that type of game play on Wii.
Although I already thought this would not work for driving games, this officially rules Kinect out for driving games. It would be ridiculous playing a driving game in a standing stationary position.
new Cole sux
No doubt. I want my click back.
Nice. I've never looked forward to an upcoming game more than this
A new design does generate a lot more interest (which means more sales). I don't own one, but take notice if there is a design improvement, and start to think about it. But for me, I need to see more exclusives that appeal to my taste before I'll buy...right now, almost all the games I like are mutliplatform.
