Interesting something like this may be coming so soon. I know Phillips has been working on glassesles 3d technology, but the article I read on it last year indicated they thought they were several years away from releasing a consumer version that was affordable, and looked as good as those with glasses.
I want to buy this game...but I think I will wait to see what kind of player feedback there is on the PS3 version. I'm not really down with games that freeze up several times in a playing session. Yeah, I am talking about you, Fallout 3.
Some folks think the world will walk off into the sunset holding hands singing Kumbaya, if we had no army.
LOL, yeah right. Armies exist because the world is not full of nice people that want to be your friends. The world is full of people that want to take your sh*t as soon as you have your back turned.
it is hard to say from the sidelines whether or not those involved in the project feel like they got their money's worth. We don't know the results of their work, only the cost.
I work for a large corporation, and we often spend millions of dollars to upgrade network hardware. This is to replace the stuff we just spent millions on three or four years before. It is the cost of doing business. We expect to replace older stuff with newer stuff every few years.
It doesn't screw over Sony, because these large purchases moved old units off the shelf, after a newer product line came out.
This really isn't the case of anyone getting burned. But there may have been some miscalculations from the people behind the supercomputer project. As a long time network project manager, one of the key factors you have to include in a project is determing the support life of a product you want to purchase, and what the spare availability wil...
IMO, hackers that steal from companies can just go die somewhere, and help the world out. In this day & age with a tough economy, these parasites are the enemies of the working class. We want to see companies hire more people, not lay people off because they are sabotaged by vermin.
LOL, I don't think it is in Sony's best interest to seek out military contracts for a special version of their GAME player.
If a FPS game comes to Kinect, it will most likely be a game that you play with a controller, and a few functions ported to Kinect so they can at least say "FPS Kinect game". But FPS fans are not going to be running, jumping, dodging behind their couches, holding up their index fingers, pretending they have guns. Pew pew pew.
But would you bet your own chips on the Kinect hand right now, with this game lineup?

So what in the Kinect game lineup looks like so much fun that we need to spend an extra $150.00 to buy Kinect? So far what I've seen looks like stuff even kids will get bored with after a short time playing.
The sole momentum behind this product is the hype Microsoft built up for it through the media. The reality is going to be determined by the game software that supports it, which really seems lacking for a product hyped up as much as this thing. There is a big despairity between the hype & the reality here. Microsoft knows this, and it is why they are keeping the pedal to the metal in the hype machine.
I am speaking specifically about iisu, not the stripped down, limited motion control technology behind Eyetoy.
The parasites that steal from software companies don't like being reminded they are vermin, so of course they will always disagree. The thiefs have worked hard at creating a fantasy in their minds they use to justify why they "deserve" to get stuff for free, and hate it when honest people send them a reality check message.
I consider a disgreement with my statement as an admission of guilt by the parasites.
Funny, but it seems that Sony could just jump on this competing product & integrate to the Playstation... and have a better version of Kinect for their system, without having to spend any dev time on it.
Now that's what I'm talking about.
I only have a PS3, and it really doesn't matter to me that I will jump into ME2 without having played the first one. I hear it is a great game, and a great game is still fun, even if it is a sequel to a game you never played before.
If you need a new TV, then yes the new 3D TVs are worth the money. They cost the same as my 2D HDTV cost me 3-4 years ago when I bought it.
If you already have a really great 2D HDTV, I don't think an upgrade is worth the money at this time. Not until there is a lot more content, would I be enticed into upgrading the perfectly fine HDTV I already have.
Well, hoopefull all this stuff gets shut down, and people get busted if they are selling working hacks.
And I am not a Sony fanboy. I just know that pirates ultimately damage industries that I buy products from. Outside of the game arena, some great software programs have been killed by the publishers because too much piracy made the commercial support non-viable.
Haha, I think the Cole design discussion is all played out by now.
Profit is only available to a company when they make something people want to buy. Nobody is forcing anything on anyone. The TV companies are chasing after what they think people want to buy.
