I'll be getting this...but the one thing that kind of bugs me on the DLC is game balance. It seems that the more DLC I play, the more my character is out of sync with the difficulty settings. The last DLC was either way too easy when choosing playthrough 1, or punishingly difficult when choosing playthrough 2, with my character that was at about level 35.
I did read the very short article twice, and still wonder why there is a title asking if Sony lost their minds.
The author implies this patent is very bad idea. But in reality the current types of game demos are much more limiting than a full featured game that degrades over time.
I think anyone crying over having a time limit on functionality for a demo must be one of those people that downloads demos, and keeps them as free mini games. But that is not ...

Any technical job these days requires a very good education - not just a paper certificate. When job competition is tight, are they going to hire someone with a certificate from a trade school, or someone with a BS in computer science from a major university?

I'm quite sure you will find similar items as this DLC a lot sooner than two hours into the game.
If the DLC gives you a huge advantage, that would make me not want to use it. I hate games that are unbalanced, and too easy.

Speaking as a Fallout fan, having extra pre-order items for a game like this is like bringing sand to the beach. There are always way more things found in these games then you will ever use or need to play the game.

They aren't going to "research" it further, because a driving game needs a physical input device for steering. Steering input has to be very precise, and predictable - something you won't have when holding a make believe steering wheel. It is impossible to hold your arms out, and have your movements be totally precise throughout a race. You will get smoked.
GTA4 had good graphics, even if there are much better graphical games on consoles right now.
Saints Row 2 was a fun game. If the graphics are as good on SR3 as the 2008 game they referenced, it does not mean the graphics are going to be crap. It does not mean that this smaller developer is incompetent.
The implication from some that games always have to get graphically better year after year (while the hardware remains the same), is a bit of a false expe...
I am a guy that prefers a female lead character in games. Maybe it's because I am an anime fan, and there are a lot of female leads in those stories. Maybe it's for variety to even things up, because most games are about "macho dudes". Maybe it's just because I prefer to look at the image of a woman instead of a man. But given the choice, I prefer a female lead.
There is no point IMO. They make enough of these products to where I have never had to get in line early to buy anything I wanted to buy.
PS3 players are looking over to see how few 360 players bought this game, and wonder why we should care about this article.
