We'll see after E3.. there's been a few games that over-hyped themselves only to end up being something else entirely. Watch dogs and Destiny to name a couple.

Several publishers are using separate studios to handle last-gen ports.. so let's hope they focus on current-gen and hand off the responsibility of downgrading their game to someone else.

Yup.. their atrocious and greedy approach to DLC is turning me away from this game. I'll get it on a deal someday.. probably by September.

Their in-house produced content was pretty entertaining.. I enjoyed both X-play and AOTS. The problem was their marathons of cops/campus police and other time-filling blah content.

We probably would have heard more from Guillermo Del Toro had it been that close to complete, so I agree it's unlikely that this project is that far along.

It's all about execution.. some games are made big for the sake of being big, to boast they have this huge world. I loved Skyrim as much as anyone else, but that world was too big for the story it had. There's lots to explore, but little to gain from most of it. Ultimately people only had to travel to a place once, after that it's all fast travel. And the outcry when a game of this size doesn't include fast travel is even more verbose. Like Burnout: Paradise City or the n...

Head to head at a press conference is one thing.. head to head on the new release Holiday market is another beast entirely. Oh, is Uncharted 4 not coming out until next year? Guess that settles that.

I'm with you on this. Few things are more rewarding than putting in a game and being able to play without having to deal with the repercussions of their decision to make it online-only.

The vision.. is to get windows 10 on 1 billion devices. This includes PC, mobile, and xbox one. Xbox One is a connectivity medium, a device, a platform to bridge your living room to your computer. But right now it's running it's own OS, so it's similar and compatible with Win10, but is not actually running Win10.
And if you're using a device that clearly won't be running win10 like an iPhone, or Android, they want you to use their services like smartglass, cor...

A better strategy would probably be to improve recovery time, so when DDoS events do occur they can come back up faster. This might be exactly the same thing as "improving up-time" I suppose.

While I can't say that if I went to the beach I'd see that quality of a beach body, I can at least say that I'd see about that much 'nudity' on a public beach. This is the difference between Japan and America right now. There's a big push for womens' rights and equality here in the US.. Japan not so much. But that's really up to the people of Japan to make their stand for rights and equality.

If this offends people, they shouldn't buy ...

Or Aliens: Colonial marines.. that game had a long dev cycle as well.

And the story mode had a few more stops than TDB did, but it's still lackluster and regurgitated content. Oh hey a new level.. oh nope it's this old level but backwards. While there are a few areas that are slightly expanded, like going back to the area that the game begins, it manages to still feel lazy. I'll give the prison of elders a run tonight since the first/easiest level of it has matchmaking, but so far i'm not impressed.

Yeah I'm hoping Gears is a triple pack, even Gears 3 has a few years under it's belt. Even still I'd wait for a deal.. which isn't a dig on it's quality but rather a paradigm shift in my game purchasing in recent months. I've found staggering my purchasing can result in some pretty good discounts, even waiting just a few weeks can save $10-$20 on a new release.

OMG it's like totally down $100! And like, that's like a huge discount!

Yep exactly. Choosing a new mission drops you in a spot, so my initial reaction was "yay a new area!" .. nope, just an old level backwards. Oooo some new shanks, and traps.. annnnd that's about it so far. Reading other posts and sites leads me to believe there isn't much else.

Yep I'll wait til it's $30 or a GOTY version.

Lol.. tens and tens of hours to max level. Poster must've never played EQ, tens of hours would get you tens of levels tops.

Yep.. what would make it work even better was if kinect would listen/respond to commands over the mic. I tend to do a lot of my gaming late at night on weekends. With a sleeping wife and child i'm not using the kinect for a damn thing.

It's not that old of a game either.. not like we're talking about a James Bond game or some other franchise that hasn't been seen in a long time. It was the PS+ game last month.. so I'd expect maybe next year's E3 to have an announcement for it.
