I had a similar issue with raids, my weekday time is highly limited so most my playtime is Fri/Sat nights. By then my Destiny friends have already done their nightfalls and raids. It's not much of an issue since most of them, myself included, have essentially stopped playing Destiny.
The gun they added has been available to season pass players for a few weeks now, and it's pretty sweet. An LMG with a shotgun change-over, uses the same ammo/clip and is full auto.. so it's essentially a 40-round automatic shotgun. Very much OP, and probably half the people you play in MP are using it... and i'm one of them.
"Finish".. nobody stops at #5 in a series. Soooo Halo 6 coming in 2017!
I'm wondering if they also added some 6-axis jiggle control like they used in Ninja Gaiden. Seems like they would stop moving naturally. The video makes it seem like they're in a vacuum, unaffected by gravity or their own motion.
Yep mine too.. was worried it'd have to sit in my queue for a bit. Now I know what i'm playing this weekend!
It's essentially a re-package.. much like the GOTY editions that come out. This one just happens to include the Pre-Sequel along with all the DLC.
Well seems like they could've remastered the entire collection that released on PS3. But definitely won't do anything to stop the outcry against HD remasters on new consoles.
A few flaws i'll just point out right now. First this is an opinion post.. and second, it's not even the "author's" opinion. It's a twitter question with copy/pasted answers. Twitter is a breeding ground of stupidity and hate.. example:"ZOMG I bought watch dogs and it was too short, worst game ever!"
That and the moniker "Battlefield" stole hardline's thunder. Although to my dismay the reports are that multiplayer has been solid, other than the DDoS attack which is beyond their control.
I agree. Time played doesn't necessarily amount to skill. Though when I play with my clan and they have a full group of max prestiges, more often than not it doesn't end well. Also worth noting that if you play an objective game-type (anything but TDM really) you'll find many of them aren't very good at team/objective playing. We often mock high KD players who lose in domination with no captures.
Nintendo isn't known for their progressive thinking. The wii was graphically inferior when it launched. The WiiU was graphically inferior when IT launched. They need to get over their arrogant 'everything we do is right' attitude and give people what THEY want, instead of what Nintendo wants them to want.
I realize that graphics aren't everything, but they're definitely something.. and to design a console with specs drastically worse than it's upc...
Well it IS labeled an opinion piece. All consoles drop in price until they're eventually phased out entirely.
I'd just wait a few months.. I bought the Ear Force Deltas for their full list price of $299, which I had convinced myself was OK since i'd use it for my xbox, ps3 and PC. Within a few months they dropped to $229.. and I felt very, very stupid.
Suppose the only thing worse than a last-gen remaster is a current-gen re-package.
Exactly. I'm down to playing basically Friday night with friends and Saturday night is usually a little co-op followed by late-night solo gaming. Games that rely on co-op don't really work, most my gaming friends just play call of duty. They played Destiny for a while, but now that it's flamed out they're back to CoD. Hoping to rope them into some Borderlands when it comes out next week.. at least nearly all of that game is solo-able aside from a few bosses.
This is more of a reply to the other reply than to your post specifically.
While re-populating the older games is one benefit (although it would be separate so if some were still playing the old version they'd be isolated), the main benefit would be to continue support for the multiplayer game itself. Right now if you put in MW2/3 or Black ops 1/2, you'll find the game is broken. Even Ghosts ON NEXT GEN CONSOLES is being hacked to the point of being unplayable.
Well I did prefer FC3 to FC4, but I can agree that it's basically the same visuals and playstyle.
These games always have been and always will be repetitive and boring, and you can see it in their review scores over the last decade. Kill this franchise already.
My friends and I joke that we spend more time partying up or re-grouping than we spend in an actual game. And some nights it's probably pretty close.
