Good thing this has low requirements because it is hard and super expensive to build a PC these days.
It was an ok showing from Microsoft. There was nothing mind blowing being presented or at the scale of what we saw with Ratchet and Clank. We did learn something major though. It seems Starfield and other Bathesda titles will be exclusive to Xbox so us Playstation fans need to start thinking about getting an Xbox or capable PC when those games are finally released. Assuming the games are at the quality we expect from Bathesda with no scummy microtransactions.
I suppose there are people who are excited for this game. My first impression of it is that I am not very impressed. The visuals looks great but I will wait and see what the game is about. Knowing Ubisoft it will have some sort of RPG element so that they can sell you "time savers" and other types of microtransactions.
Guys a physical copy is not an option for me. I prefer to buy digital because the cost to import is too high in my country. The local stores sells games has a 100% markup and the price stays at launch price for years. As a result I really have to play this game on PC or via a streaming service if Sony is being stubborn about bringing it back to the ps store.
I only clicked on the article because I wanted to know about the future of Cyberpunk on Playstation. It seems I will need to play this game on PC or via a streaming service as he did not comment on what it would take for Cyberpunk to return to the store.
I think we are getting to the point where replayability may not be the sole deciding factor in value anymore. Just about every core gamer I know has some sort of backlog with free games from ps plus or gamepass or even games that were purchased on sale but never played, so I think we are at a point where the quality of the content matters more. A developer can make a game with an estimated 500 hrs playtime but if it is not compelling enough, people may not buy it. For example, if I were given...
Yes it is worth buying and is a must have for all playstation 5 owners based on what I've seen in the reviews and the reception it has received but I personally will not be purchasing it until it comes down in price. My rule is usually wait for a 50% off sale and since I prefer to buy digital, I could be waiting till next year before I get to play this game.
Started playing it and I can say performance mode is the way to go. I tried playing it in 30fps but the difference in animation smoothness is night and day. Visually I could not tell much of a difference between graphics mode which is 4k and performance mode when everything is in motion. I wish we could get 4k 60 fps but I will take what I get and I am still happy with how it turned out.
8 million units in 6 months and people still think it's a paper launch. Imagine if there was not a chip shortage.
I think they are in a difficult position. I personally would rather wait till 2023 for them to release their major games instead of having them go cross gen because you are going to wonder how those games would have been had they focused soley on the ps5. Graphically I think the games will look amazing regardless if it is cross gen or not but the game design and physics will take a hit given that they have to accommodate the weaker base ps4 CPU.
At the moment, I see their ...
Someone please clarify something for me. I get that all the dlc that was available in the deluxe edition will be free when you upgrade to the ps5 version but the episode with Yufi, will I need to purchase that and where can I make that purchase?
Visually the game looks dated and one if the things I cannot get over is the fact that aliens are coming in on advanced vehicles such as flying saucers yet they are running at you like mindless brutes with no weapons.
I hope that cross gen games won't cost more than $60.
Not surprised by the delay but what really irks me is that Sony already knew it would not be a 2021 release when they put out that teaser trailer at the reveal event.
great month for gaming and I am glad to see we are finally getting the ps5 version of the ff7 remake
@russo121 I don't remember him saying that. I didn't rewatch their analysis of Halo infinite but from what I remember, the issue they found was the lighting and the lack of next gen graphical features was the reason it looked so bad.
It depends on how well Microsoft's presentation does.
This score seems a bit extreme but I will wait for the user reviews as the critics seems to be giving this game a hard time.
They need to stop with all these leaks. EA will most likely show this game early next month. Why try to leave bread crumb leaks that will cause some of us to lose interest in the game.
These file sizes will eventually be the norm this gen and if you're into next gen gaming, do not buy the Xbox series S. At $300 with less than 400 GB of storage space, you will get to a point where you will need to buy an expansion card which is about $110 for 500 GB and $220 for the 1 TB card. It makes more sense to either buy a ps5 or get a series X where both consoles have not only more space but more power.
