Brian Fleming already responded to the Sly 4 question in an interview at the GDC. He didn't rule it out but he did stress that they would be more interested in developing the inFamous franchise and stated that there were so many ideas for inFamous that never came to fruition that they would be quite excited to do a sequel. Can a developer not make a reference to one of their beloved franchises without it been played up as confirmation?!
Thanks for letting us know that you couldn't care less about a Rugby game but plenty of other people may be interested..
He states that the ultimate power is accessible in the last stretch of the game..which comes after 10 hours. Not that the game is completed in ten hours, we have no idea how long that "last stretch" actually is. Brian Fleming said 20 hours, not including side missions, so I'm hoping for around 15 hours+.
Wait for the "Its OPM UK, obviously biased" from the haters. And before you lot start weighing in, please take a look at OPM UK's scoring of other PS3 exclusives..they are not easily pleased.
The soundtrack is excellent, amazing how much of a difference it can make to a game..the music in the battle segment where the Reapers first appear was very John Carpenter.
Yeah and if even 2% are filthy rich that's still a lot of people...or maybe you think those wealthy people should help out the poor like they do in other capitalist countries?! Food hand outs in NY lately?
Upcoming titles get previews on N4G and we get a handful of comments, but put up some article involving sales data and watch the comments soar.
The 360 mob flying the superior sales flag as usual and the hypocritical Sony "Sales don't matter camp" jumping on the bandwagon the minute they are given the opportunity. What a pathetic bunch of waster's you fanboys are, if only you could devote this much energy into facets of life that are truly important.

Excellent news..although I've been stuck on the last level for a while now. Really great game when you've made the right the decisions and the money starts rolling in for the serious tech, carnage.
He's staff writer for 360 Magazine UK...shock horror.
Gamestop are usually a rip off on the trade-ins but I don't think Xtravision are much better to be honest. Unfortunately shopping around is your best bet. I've never tried Game so I'd go with Johnny's advice.
I hear its a next gen edition of the bible, reads at 60fps in 1080p.
People in Home..calling you a nerd?!! Priceless
Looking as fantastic as ever, I'm really baffled as to why Sucker Punch are keeping the soundtrack under wraps though. They've already made a fairly big fuss about what artists were involved and stated in interviews how they have composed multiple track play lists for individual scenes, to keep them fresh should you have to keep replaying a mission. I'm hoping that the music isn't just restricted to boss battles and cut scenes alone as the game comes off a little sparse without BGM.
It's been confirmed already that the game is 20 hours long, not including the 100 side quests and exploration for collectible power ups. So I'd say you are looking at around 25 hours +.
I find it a little worrying when he talks about Sony pulling the plug on development to push the game out the gates being a while off and then only a few weeks after that interview it has gone gold.
I think the gaming media is a little more cautious in early appraisals after such games like Lair and Haze. You are totally right not to trust them and even bona fide reviews should be taken with a grain of salt but I think the fact that a few reviewers have more or less put their name on the line for this one is a good indication of at least a quality product. Fingers crossed on this one.
There is a question mark in the title. I don't think they are suggesting that it will be a definite candidate as much as they are stating that they absolutely loved it.
Quite a few "hands on" from various journalists have suggested that this game plays far better than any video will ever showcase and a very encouraging amount have sworn to stand by their early impressions.
All in all, its looking like inFamous will be a game fondly remembered from this gen...
Can you tell me what games deserve hype in your opinion?
Its a third person shooter, with a standard cover system, a vertical cover system, melee attacks, go anywhere platforming, around 13 different super powers (with different variations based on your karma) all wrapped up in a beautiful graphic novel style and placed in a sandbox environment that reacts and adapts according to your choices. There also seems to be a heavy focus on this game not suffering from the standard &quo...
@raztad
"No offense bud, bit it's clear you dont know what are you talking about."
I think I have a very good idea of what I'm talking about, in fact why don't you look up some of the GDC interviews with Brian Fleming the director of Sucker Punch, where he explains that Sucker Punch is quite a small team by today's standards. Nate Fox has also mentioned in earlier interviews that the budget for inFamous was deliberately frugal..a small team keeping overhead...
How many sites have used that "shockingly good" shtick now?? Twunts.
